'GMA' host Robin Roberts shares throwback photos from Wimbledon, fans say she is 'aging in reverse'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Good Morning America' host Robin Roberts is away from the studio once again as the 62-year-old has been spending time with her fiance Amber Laign, enjoying the summer. And it turns out that the 'GMA' star has found her way to London with co-host Lara Spencer to witness the ongoing Wimbledon tournament.
Moreover, being in London at this moment brought back memories for Roberts as she couldn't help but share a string of throwback photos from the 1990s when she visited the city to cover the same tennis event. She took to Instagram to post the images, and her fans were quick to state that she looked almost unrecognizable, with a few even mentioning that the star is aging in reverse.
'You're like Benjamin Button aging in REVERSE'
Lara and Roberts jetted off to London recently to attend the Wimbledon matches over the weekend, with the former suggesting that they will return to the studio soon after the event gets over. But it was the aura of nostalgia that encapsulated Roberts, who couldn't help but take a trip down memory lane. Some throwback photos on the Instagram post included David Brofsky, a prominent show producer with whom Robers' used to work back in the day. Roberts seemed engulfed in work in one of the photos, while another captured her smiling next to Brofsky as she donned a chic blue blazer.
Roberts' ardent followers gushed over the throwback photos, rushing to leave their comments. One user wrote, "Nice big hair. You look like your Mom here in these photos," while another couldn't help but compliment her for her grace and beauty, writing, "You're like Benjamin Button aging in REVERSE!!! You like even younger now!!!!!" A third stated, "So here for the chic blazers, Robin!" One more mentioned, "I am loving that hair!!! You have always been fierce." 'GMA' co-host Ginger Zee couldn't resist commenting and wrote, "Loving these throwbacks."

Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer's innate love for tennis
When Spencer announced that she would be traveling to London with Roberts to attend the Wimbledon event, her excitement knew no limits. Their shared love for the game was evident when the duo posted photos from their tennis lesson a while ago. In the post, they are seen rocking tennis skirts for the session with retired professional tennis player Rennae Stubbs, a Wimbledon Champion. Robert's fiancee Laign sat in the stands with their dog, Lukas, to cheer for her partner. Spencer and Roberts are expected to spend only a brief time in London before returning to the 'GMA' studios.
