NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The dance floor at ‘Good Morning America’ star Robin Roberts’ wedding turned into a battleground between Gio Benitez’s husband, Tommy DiDario, and weekend anchor, Whit Johnson, as both brought their best moves to the floor.

Roberts recently married her long-time partner Amber Laign, and the wedding celebrations went deep into the night with guests busting out their moves.

Although it was Johnson who at first conquered the dance floor with his electric moves, DiDario couldn't hold back for long.

Whit Johnson was going along with the music, breaking out his best moves, when Gio Benitez's husband, Tommy DiDario, joined him on the floor and did a half-split that got the loudest appreciation from everyone watching.

The duo started to go off at each other it turned into a mini-dance battle. As DiDario kept turning and jumping, Johnson started waving his coat at him.

Soon the 'GMA' weekend anchor turned to his slow moves as the rest of the people watching joined the duo on the floor.

The moment was captured on camera, and Roberts showed it to DiDario the next morning, only for him to be completely surprised at what he did last night on the dance floor.

Benitez was sitting next to DiDario as Roberts showed the clip from the previous night. He couldn’t help but laugh at the incident, forcing his husband, Benitez, to share the moment with his followers on Instagram.

Benitez captioned the post, "The dancing! So. Much. Dancing. But this moment between @tommydidario and @whitjohnsontv, with @robinrobertsgma giving the play-by-play the next morning, was perfection."
