NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star George Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth recently shared a few glimpses from a non-profit event she attended in New York with A-list comedians such as Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart and Jerry Seinfeld.

The 58-year-old actress and producer took to Instagram and shared a carousel post, giving her fans and followers the best moments from the night at the event.

Ali along with George attended the Good+ Foundation event in Carnegie Hall to raise funds for low-income families and “dismantle multi-generational poverty”

Founded by Jesse Seinfeld, The Good+ Foundation is a leading national nonprofit that works to dismantle multi-generational poverty by pairing tangible goods with innovative services for low-income fathers, mothers, and caregivers, creating an upward trajectory for the whole family.

Ali Wentworth captures eventful night at non-profit event in NYC

The mother of two started her Instagram post with a photo of herself with husband, George alongside Jerry and Jesse Seinfeld, the founder of the non-profit.

She then posed with Jesse for a quick snap and later clicked a photo with Mariska Hargitay of Joyful Heart Foundation alongside the renowned Hollywood comedian Amy Schumer.

Ali also shared a group photo with Schumer, Hart, Jim Gaffigan, and other comedians present for the event.

Ali also took the stage to perform a comedy set for the non-profit event. 

However, when Ali captioned her post on Instagram, she spoke of “dark times” and how “laughter can be medicinal” for it.

She wrote, “During dark times laughter can be medicinal.”

Ali praised the Good+ Foundation for all their work and continued, “@goodplusfdn raised money last night to scaffold low-income families and dismantle multi-generational poverty. Friends and family came together. And the best of the best comedians gave us a much-needed escape.”

Jesse Seinfeld thanked Ali and wrote, “Thank you for being a fabulous Board member friend, and last night, stand-up comedian.”

Another one added, “Got to get out and laugh!! Lucky u guys had Jerry and Ali. Instant comedy.”

"PS- I think the world needs your stand up (with a heart emoji),” quipped another fan.
