GMA’s Robin Roberts reveals cost of her lavish on-air bachelorette party after co-host Michael Strahan pokes fun at her
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Robin Roberts finally revealed that her bachelorette party was “free” and cost nothing as it was held “right here” on the morning show.
Roberts married her longtime partner Amber Laign on September 8 and later honeymooned in Curacao.
The couple celebrated their union with family and friends in New York but their bachelorette party was hosted by ‘GMA’ with co-host Michael Strahan, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer, and others, all playing their part.
Roberts came clean about the cost of The Bachelorette when Strahan poked fun at her after a segment.
Although the 'GMA' star had a bachelorette party outside the morning show, the cost of which is undetermined, the one that took place in the studio was “free.”

During Thursday’s (September 28) show, a GMA correspondent talked about the rising cost of bachelorette parties in America.
Los Angeles Correspondent Zohreen Shah talked to the recent bride, Summer, about her bash who revealed that her bridesmaids spent $1,7000 each, and the total of the party cost over $21,000.
Shah then threw it over to Roberts, Strahan, and Spencer in the studio, prompting the former NFL star to ask his co-host a question.
"How much was your Bachelorette party?" he asked. "Oh, it was here," Robin said.
The celebration included Roberts and Laign being treated to mocktails, games, friends, and gifts.
One of the presents from her sister Sally-Ann Roberts deeply moved the ‘GMA’ star. The gift was a personalized cutting board with the couples’ names etched on it.
Even though the bachelorette on ‘GMA’ was enough to kick start the wedding celebration, the morning show host didn’t stop there."It was free. Here on GMA.” Strahan cracked up as Roberts replied, "Thanks for bringing that up.”
Strahan poked fun at Roberts but the newlywed enjoyed a bachelorette party on GMA unlike anyone.
The celebration included Roberts and Laign being treated to mocktails, games, friends, and gifts.

Roberts enjoyed an action-packed party on a yacht with close friends later.
She had on a white cowboy hat, a white T-shirt, pants, and a bride-to-be sash on her body.
She danced in a video on her Instagram story. The host captioned it: "Bachelorette weekend has been a hoot!”
She then shared a photo of Amber's significantly more relaxed-looking celebration. Roberts commented on it, "Admire how my sweet Amber chose a different location and vibe for her bachelorette weekend."
