Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen and five-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady have been together for more than 10 years now. Right from the start of their relationship, the duo had a bumpy ride but they always found their way back to each other.

The couple met in 2006 on a blind date, when Brady was in a relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. At that time, Brady and Bundchen went out for drinks. Bundchen said she knew it was love at first sight. She spoke about their date during an appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon'. "You know, when I saw those kind eyes, I literally fell in love, like, right away," she said.

"I was like, 'What?' He was just so—you know how sweet he is." Later, after their blind date, Brady broke up with Moynahan and the two became the new 'it' couple.

Things got complicated between the duo when Moynahan announced that she was pregnant with Bundchen's child in February 2007. "It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking, I'm dating this guy, we met, and we started dating and everything is great and then this happens," Bundchen told CBS in a 2019 interview. "So, then I felt like I didn't know what to do. It was kind of one of those moments of like, 'Do I just run away?'"

Moynahan and Brady welcomed their son Jack in August 2007.

The couple got engaged in January 2009. Bundchen told Vogue about Brady's tricky proposal, saying, "When he proposed to me, he made up this whole story how my apartment was flooding, and I ran over to fix the situation," she said.

"When I got there, the whole apartment had candles and rose petals everywhere, and then he went down on his knees to propose, and I'm like, 'get up!' because he just had surgery and had three staph infections. And I was like 'What are you doing?' He's like, 'I gotta go on my knees,' and I’m like, 'No, no, no! Get up, please!'"

After a month, on February 26, 2009, the couple tied the knot in Santa Monica in California. "We planned it in like 10 days, and it was perfect," Brady told GQ later that year. Their marriage was a very closed affair with only 20 people in attendance.

Within two months of their wedding, the couple invited their extended family of around 40 people to join them for another marriage ceremony in Costa Rica.

On December 8, 2009, the couple welcomed their child, Benjamin Rein. Later on December 5, 2012, they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Vivian Lake. During the press tour for her book 'Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life', Bundchen revealed how difficult she found being a mother first and said, "When I became a mom, I kind of lost myself. It was like a part of me died," she told People magazine.

"I'd been this very independent person. It was all about me. But now I had this little being, and I suddenly felt l couldn't do other things and that was very hard for me. All I ever wanted was to be a mom, but when you're actually experiencing that, it's a shock."

"I thought what a terrible mother I was for leaving my child even for like a day," she added. She also said that she was also felt guilty when she brought her kids along. "Like, 'Here we are on a plane and the baby is crying.'"

In 2015, there were several rumors about them parting ways but Brady denied the rumors during a radio interview with WEEI. "We're in a great place," he said. "There's no bigger support I have than her."

In September 2016, Brady faced some tough times after he was suspended for four games during the 2016 NFL season, but Bundchen always had his back, she shared an Instagram photo of the two playing catch, titled, "Don't worry guys. I will keep him ready."

In February 2019, Brady shared a photo on Instagram celebrating his 10-year-anniversary with wife Bundchen and said, "Ten years ago, I didn’t realize how much I could love you and the family we created together. My heart is so full and I am so blessed! I know our journey has not been easy, but the challenges we have overcome have made our bond stronger and our love grow deeper. Thank you for loving me, for supporting my dreams, and for nurturing our family in the way that only you could. You are my rock, my love and my light! I love you and I love our family! 🌟❤️😍."

Over the years, their love has only gotten stronger...

In an interview, when Brady was asked if he ever makes love to Bündchen on game days, he was completely caught off-guard.

“Oh man. That’s probably off the table,” the handsome hunk told Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast. Even though he was a little surprised and taken aback, Brady answered that question and it will make you blush like a teenager. “I wouldn’t say it’s never happened,” he said. “But I don’t think that would be the moment. That wouldn’t be my pre-game warmup.” Brady then laughed.
