Just can't get enough of it! Gina Rodriguez flashes massive engagement ring in social media post
When in love, celebrities are pretty much just like us. Take Gina Rodriguez for example. The 'Jane the Virgin' star recently got engaged to boyfriend Joe LoCicero, two days ago to be precise, and she cannot seem to contain her excitement. On Thursday, the actress took to Instagram to post a picture of her fiance and her hand, loaded with a massive engagement ring. The post was aimed at wishing Joe a happy birthday but the rock seems to have distracted us all. It is definitely an impressive diamond ring!
She herself celebrated her 34th birthday just over a week ago. In the picture, Joe is seen laughing and looking at his fiance taking the picture. Rodriguez's hand is seen clutching Joe's as a massive ring shines on her finger. The two appear to be in a restaurant, probably enjoying Joe's birthday.
This isn't the first time the star has taken to Instagram to show off the big rock. She earlier posted a series of vacation photos that clearly are meant for the ring to take all the attention.
In the first shot, she's seen lounging around in a tropical paradise of Casa Malca in a colorful pink kaftan. She's seen smiling and blushing in the photo captioned, "They thought I was a Surrealist but I wasn’t. I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality.’ –Frida”. She posted two more pictures from the same holiday and also bombarded fans with pictures and PDA of the couple in her Instagram stories. She posted two photos with Joe and continued flashing her sparkly bling both times.
She recently came out clean about the engagement. "I have a very, very special man in my life. I am engaged. You’re the first people that I’ve told," she told US Weekly. "It’s wonderful blessings like that, that make me realize that if I have an opportunity to help someone else, I want to."
She similarly told People: "I am [engaged]! He’s the f****** best. We’ve been engaged for like a month — I’ve kept it a secret for a while." Rodriguez had previously revealed during an appearance on 'Live with Kelly and Ryan' that the pair met one another in 2016 on the sets of 'Jane the Virgin,' where LoCicero played a stripper. They had started dating soon after, making their relationship official and posting pictures of themselves vacationing together in Thailand. She had said at the time, "He thought I was being nice to him because I am nice to everyone that comes on the show. So he thought I was just being super sweet to him and I thought he was just being sweet on me because I’m the lead."
