Gina Kirschenheiter is accused of pushing her boyfriend Travis Mullen down the stairs in front of his children during an altercation at home.
Travis, 36, requested an emergency investigation saying Gina, 38, is keeping his kids from him after alleging their oldest child witnessed a domestic incident between the couple. A source close to Gina said the allegations are false, without merit, and an attempt to smear her name in their ongoing custody battle. The insider claimed that the TV personality is a survivor of domestic violence herself and that she would never assault her boyfriend like that.

According to Radar Online, Travis's ex Meghan Mullen is not opposed to an emergency investigation, saying it "is warranted based on the concerns I have for the health, safety, and welfare of Petitioner and l's three children," adding that a probe "is needed as our children may be living in a home where they are witnessing domestic violence." Documents obtained by the outlet state that "according to our children, around April there was a physical altercation between Travis and his girlfriend Gina." Meghan said their daughter "partially witnessed" the alleged incident when she went to "investigate" after hearing "loud" noises late at night.
Meghan alleged in court documents that Travis was arguing with Gina about her drinking habits before things turned violent. Travis's daughter "witnessed Gina push Travis down the stairs, banging head on the wall, an [sic] throwing hairs and pictures off the wall." Meghan claimed in the documents that the other kids "heard the argument and banging through the room they were all huddled in." The children reportedly told her about the alleged incident. "I told them that they can call the police or me if something happens like this," Meghan wrote, adding she "tried to tell Travis that we needed to talk," but "he didn't respond to me."
She also said that she was "concerned about the environment" her children are in while visiting their father's residence, claiming they are in "constant fear" and "walking on eggshells" considering what might happen. She added she's also "concerned they are not being properly supervised," alleging, "the kids shared that often Travis will lock himself in his room with Gina and they are left alone to entertain themselves on an iPad."
Meghan blasted allegations that she "unilaterally withheld" their three kids from him, saying they are "refusing to go to visits with their father and become hysterical." The ex also alleged that she bought cell phones for their children so they could "call me if they needed me," but "phones are not allowed at Travis's house." According to her, "All three children have expressed to me that they are not allowed to call me during his visits."
Meghan also claimed her daughter is wary about writing her journal while at Travis and Gina's home, fearing her entries will be "used to spy on her." She further pointed out 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star's DUI, adding she is "concerned about Gina's behavior and drinking." The documents, filed on May 18, added, "The kids tell me that sometimes when they wake up in the morning, she will be asleep with an empty bottle of wine and glass next to her."
Gina responded to Travis's allegations, including that she physically assaulted him in October. "I did not assault him," Gina wrote in the legal documents. She also stated his narrative that she's keeping the kids from him "in an effort to gain leverage in a criminal action against her" is "absolutely false." The response came after Travis filed a police complaint against Meghan, alleging she has deliberately kept their children from him following their divorce and that he hasn't seen them since May 8. According to Travis, Gina is violating their custody agreement and has demanded a probe into the matter. The embroiled exes will face each other in court later this month.
Gina has three children with her ex-husband Matthew Kirschenheiter, namely Nicholas, 9, Sienna, 7, and Luca, 5. Meanwhile, Travis has three children, two daughters and a son — ages 10, 8, and 5 — from his earlier relationship with Meghan.
