Gary Busey's rep defends his pants-down video with WEIRD excuse: 'Perhaps he needed the bathroom'
MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Actor Gary Busey's spokesperson gave an explanation for the 78-year-old actor's pants-down photo and says he perhaps needed to relieve himself. Busey recently was caught on camera pulling his pants down at Point Dume Park on Saturday, August 20, after he denied the allegations of sexually assaulting women.
Gary Busey, 78, was charged on August 19 with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact, and one count of harassment following his alleged actions during an incident at a New Jersey fan gathering at the Monster Mania Convention between August 12 and 14. According to the Daily Mail, Busey got out of his car wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. He went towards a bench where he sat down, pulled out his phone, and then pulled his pants down.

The 'Point Break' star stuck one hand down the front of his pants, and then scanned around to check nobody caught him in the lewd act. He then started smoking a cigar, staring at the ocean for half an hour before leaving the park. The incident occurred just a day after he was charged with sex crimes after three women claimed he inappropriately touched them during an autograph signing and meet-and-greet at the Monster Mania Convention, as previously reported.
"Gary often sits on the bench in front of his home to meditate and look at the ocean," a spokesperson of the Oscar nominee actor told Page Six. He added, "Our only guess is that perhaps at his age, he realized he couldn’t get to the bathroom in time which explains what happened in the video of him on the bench."
Busey's representative also told that the bench where the incident occurred is privately owned but as per PageSix it was confirmed that the incident took place in public view as the video showed.
Before untying his pants, the actor appeared to cross his hands over his legs. It's unclear whether Busey dropped them because he needed to relieve himself. This is not the first time Busey has taken his pants off in public. When the actor, then 70, entered the UK's 'Celebrity Big Brother' house, housemates and viewers were stunned when Busey pulled down his pants in front of everyone, wearing no underwear. According to the Mirror, the incident occurred while Busey was attempting to fix his knee brace, which had been giving him trouble. However, the recent video that came on Saturday doesn't confirm if the actor was adjusting his knee.
