Will Gabby and Rachel's friendship survive 'The Bachelorette'? Fan threaten to 'boycott' ABC over uncalled drama

While every season of 'The Bachelorette' claims to be the most dramatic one yet, Season 19 certainly has a bit of an edge, seeing that this season, we get two bachelorettes instead of one, Rachel Reccia and Gabby Windey. And while it's the two of them, the group of men vying for their attention remains the same. And if you think this is a recipe for disaster, then you're on the money.

For those of you who sat through the absolute trainwreck that was Clayton Echard's season, you know that Gabby and Rachel felt as though they were 'collateral damage' in the Susie Evans and Clayton Echard romance. And while they didn't get their happily ever after, the two ladies did walk away with a strong friendship (and plenty of jokes at Clayton's expense).

While Gabby and Rachel are excited to take on the season together, seeing that they don't have to go through the process alone, they also gushed about how they hoped that they would walk away with fiances together. But, if the preview clip for the upcoming episodes is anything to go by, it looks like there is a great divide when it comes to the men picking between the pair, right to the extent where Gabby's rose was rejected in favor of Rachel. The women are also seeing crying, as there is a conflict of interest over who they live vs who likes them. And while the drama makes for great reality TV, fans are concerned about the impact that it might have on Gabby and Rachel's friendship.

Them debriefing the men, supporting one another, and being so excited and shrieking over each others first kisses has made night one great so far. #HeretoMakeFriends #TheBachelorette" said a fan. "Please, for the love of trashy reality television, don’t ruin this friendship. Lets showcase women supporting women, and leave the drama and all things we love about this franchise to the unstable men about to exit the limo #TheBachelorette" wrote another. "The minute @ABCNetwork pits Rachel against Gabby, we boycott. Don’t you dare tear apart this friendship for drama. There is no reality in which they have thirty men to choose from and pick the same one. Not buying it, ABC, you’ve been warned. #TheBachelorette," wrote another. "Producers better not ruin this adorable friendship or I’m gonna be PISSED #TheBachelorette #Bachelorette" added a fan. "If these producers try to break up rachel and gabby friendship…I WILL have to get involved…#TheBachelorette" agreed a fan.

What do you think? Will Gabby and Rachel's friendship make it out alive from this reason? Are they going to be pit against each and put through the wringer for the sake of drama? Or will they be the ones calling the shots? By the looks of it, there certainly are chances that their friendship might go through some strain.
