'Future Man' Season 3: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about the Hulu sci-fi comedy

The show 'Future Man' follows Josh Futturman, a janitor that's also a gamer that is ranked world-class, and is tasked with preventing human extinction after people from the future tell him that he is the key to stop an upcoming invasion of a super race. The show's first season debuted on Hulu in November 2017 and Season 2 released in January 2019, with 13 episodes each. The upcoming Season 3 will be the final season of the series.

Release date

'Future Man' Season 3 will be available on Hulu on April 3, 2020. The third season will have eight episodes.

Plot

Season 1 and Season 2 were parodies of 'The Terminator' and 'Mad Max', we are to wait and see what Season 3 has in store for us.

"Convicted of time crimes and sentenced to death by entertainment, Josh, Tiger, and Wolf become fugitives, on the run through time, trying desperately to evade capture while clearing their names and fixing the big mess of history they’ve made along the way," revealed Hulu about the plot of Season 3.

Actor and producer Hutcherson plays the role of Josh Futturman in 'Future Man'. He is known for his role as Peeta Mellark in the 'Hunger Games' series and has served as executive producer in 'Detention' (2011), 'The Forger' (2012) and 'Escobar: Paradise Lost (2015)'

Eliza Coupe

Actress and comedian Coupe plays the role of Tiger in 'Future Man'. She is known for her role as  Jane Kerkovich-Williams 'Happy Endings' and has a recurring role as Hannah Wyland in 'Quantico.'

Other cast members include Derek Wilson, Ed Begley Jr and Glenne Headly.

Creators

The series is created and executive produced by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir. It is directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Matt Tolmach, James Weaver and Ben Karlin serve as executive producers alongside Kyle Hunter, Ariel Shaffir, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
