AGE OF EMPIRE: All the global royals set to attend the Queen's funeral

As the world prepares for the grand farewell to the Queen, there are a number of speculations about which members of the royal family will be invited to the funeral

LONDON, ENGLAND: As Britain mourns the death of its beloved Queen Elizabeth II, the country prepares for a grand farewell to its former monarch. On September 19, Britain will witness the presence of several great heads of state, royal heads, and politicians from around the world who will travel to pay their respects to the late monarch.

Windsor Castle will be the Queen's final resting place. Some heads of state from around the world, including US President Joe Biden, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, have already confirmed their attendance.

Here is a list of the members of the royal family who could attend the funeral and pay their last respects.

British royal family

The newly named King Charles III along with his wife, Camilla, Queen Consort will attend the funeral. It will also have the presence of Prince Williams and Kate Middleton along with Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.

Queen Elizabeth's children

Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence

The queen's daughter, Princess Anne, and her husband, Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence will surely take part in the funeral as the nation bids farewell to the long-standing Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Andrew 

Prince Andrew who is the third child of Queen Elizabeth and younger brother of King Charles III will also take part in the funeral ceremony which will take place at Windsor Castle on Monday, September 19.

Sarah Ferguson

Sarah Ferguson who is the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, the former Duchess of York will most likely join for the funeral ceremony.

Prince Edward and Sophie

Prince Edward who is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II will take part in the funeral ceremony of his mother along with his wife Sophie on Monday, September 19.

Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren

Peter Philips

Peter Philips who is a businessman is the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II. He will most likely attend the function along with other family members.

Zara and Mike Tindall

Zara Tindall along with her husband Mike Tindall will participate in the funeral ceremony. She is a British equestrian, an Olympian, and the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, and Captain Mark Phillips.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew. She will take part in the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, September 19 at Windsor Castle.

There is still confusion regarding the presence of the Queen's great-grandchildren at the funeral ceremony. However, Here is a list of the Queen's grandchildren who might take part in the ceremony. Savannah Phillips, Isla Philips, Prince George, Mia Tindall, Lena Tindall, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, 3, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, Lucas Philip Tindall, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozz are the great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II.

The following global royal family members have confirmed their participation in the funeral ceremony of the former monarch.Apart from the listed royal family members, representatives from the Swedish, Danish, and Monegasque royal families are also expected.
