'From' Season 2 Episode 2 Review: Fatima and Julie break down as monsters unleash horror in macabre town
Spoilers for ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 2
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The worst is yet to come. Well, that just might happen in 'From' Season 2 as the series progresses. Only two episodes have aired so far, and things are much darker than you'd have expected, and that is strongly reflected in the characters and their breakdowns, especially in 'From' Season 2 Episode 2. In 'From' Season 2, there is no more mercy for the characters, as the challenges increase.
In Episode 1 of 'From,' a mysterious bus with nearly twenty passengers arrived in town and made things much worse for everyone. Needless to say, when you tell a bus full of strangers that they have to spend the night in a diner in an unfamiliar town, they don't exactly react positively. 'From' Season 2 Episode 2 deals a little more with the aftermath, along with tying up some loose ends from the previous episodes and some exceptional performances from Hannah Cheramy and Pegah Ghafoori.

‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1 Review: Things get worse for everyone as mysterious bus arrives in town
One breakdown, two breakdowns…three
The arrival of the mysterious bus has everyone on the edge, whether they are the townspeople or the newcomers. Not everyone cooperates when the townspeople try to convince them to stay inside after sundown. Donna uses her shotgun as much as possible to create a sense of fear mixed with attention among the people from the bus, and it only works to a certain extent. While most of the town's new and old residents are in the diner, some of them are still lurking outside.
Fatima and Ellis are separated from the diner as Fatima screams and yells in an attempt to convince people to come inside, and we see her breakdown. Although the breakdown was filled with remorse at the screams of the dying people, there was also a lot of anger in her as she holds up her middle finger to the monsters from the other side of the window. Frankly, Fatima's breakdown perfectly mirrors how viewers feel when their favorite characters are repeatedly put through the wringer.
Fatima is not the only one to have a breakdown in 'From' Season 2 Episode 2, as Julie remains separated from Tabitha and Jim throughout the episode, hearing the screams of people dying outside and wondering if any of those screams belong to her parents. Julie's breakdown in the diner has helped the people from the bus take everything a little more seriously.
How many people will make it alive?
Here's the thing, while this is Season 2 of 'From,' we're only on the second episode, and there have already been some deaths, and that will increase as the series progresses. The creators and writers have done a good job of establishing just how intense this season is going to be, and they're not here to play! If you thought this season would be a bit nicer and not kill off your favorite characters... you may have been wrong.
Although things do not go as planned, Boyd finally gets more screen time compared to the first episode, which is perhaps the only bright spot of this episode. However, there is something mysterious running through his veins, and neither Boyd nor the viewers feel good about it. ' is absolutely ruthless, but could the series kill off one of its main characters? We'll have to keep watching to find out, because 'From' just keeps getting better!
