Spoilers for ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘From’ is easily one of the most interesting horror fiction series out there right now, and the first episode of Season 2 just dropped! There is a lot happening in the town riddled with monsters, where everyone has to be indoors before sundown, or they might never see the sunrise again. While the premise of ‘From’ is incredibly promising, there have been times when the fans have felt like the series has presented them with more questions than answers. Albeit, things might be changing in ‘From’ Season 2.

‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1 focuses on multiple aspects of the season 1 finale, that have been carried forward to the latest season. For example, Tabitha is still underground, so if you were hoping for a time skip where she is reunited with her husband and kids, that’s not happening in ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1. Victor and Tabitha’s journey continues, and just a warning, be prepared for some jump scares!

What happens to Tabitha and Victor?

In the previous season of ‘From’ we witnessed Tabitha digging a hole in the house as ‘Plan B’ discussed between her and Jim. However, this clearly doesn’t go as planned. Tabitha ends up falling down, and that’s when she runs into Victor. Victor is one of the more suspicious and odd characters in ‘From’ although Scott McCord has done a brilliant job portraying him. Victor convinces Tabitha to talk down a dungy tunnel with him, and against her best judgment, she does. Not that she had many alternatives, to begin with anyway.

While there are several things in focus when it comes to ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1, Tabitha and Victor’s journey is definitely one of the scarier ones, which feeds straight into the horror fiction genre. Tabitha is hell-bent on dropping the idea and seeking help, but Victor keeps walking straight ahead, and she doesn’t want to leave him behind. The town has a streak of burying bodies, and Tabitha didn’t want another one added to the mix, not on her own accord at least.

Victor tells Tabitha that this is where the monsters sleep, and he wasn’t wrong. This proceeds to be one of the creepiest scenes of ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1 and has definitely set the bar high for the rest of the season. We see the monsters sleeping in different corners of the tunnel. The only problem is, when you’re in a tunnel, you can’t predict when the sun is going down. Victor’s demeanor starts as terrified and moves to panic in very little time, leaving Tabitha to fend for herself.

Do Tabitha and Victor survive?

Meanwhile, Jim and other members of the town, along with a few people from the bus, are all trying to get Tabitha out of there, but instead, end up hurting themselves. Things aren’t going well for anyone in ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1, but that’s the beauty of ‘From’. The monsters have now woken up, and Tabitha and Victor are still trapped. Can they possibly make it out alive in time?

You can stream ‘From’ Season 2 Episode 1 on MGM+ starting April 23, 2023.
