Fox News' Dana Perino takes vacation to new heights as she continues her adventure with husband Peter McMahon in Spain
MADRID, SPAIN: Fox News host Dana Perino had decided to take a trip around Spain with her husband Peter McMahon soon after she concluded her work as the moderator for the second GOP debate.
Perino first revealed that she was on a romantic getaway a week ago when she celebrated her 25th marriage anniversary with McMahon.
In a recent set of photos, the news host shared that her trip has extended past the weekend of the couple's big day as she explored more of the beautiful country with her life partner.

While 'The Five' host Perino had previously traveled around San Sebastian, based on her previous posts, she included other major sites of the country, including Asturias and Madrid.

As Asturias is famous for its dairy and farm animals alongside its beaches and other scenic locations, the couple could be seen enjoying a little of everything there.
Both dressed in athletic wear for an adventure around the mountainous area, Perino shared several shots with the premium cheese made in the province which gives the place the nickname "the land of cheese."
Known for being an animal lover, given that her Instagram page is almost like a fan account for her beloved dog Percy, she also shared pictures of her cuddling some of the farm animals.

Dana Perino and Peter McMahon spend their last moments in Madrid
While the Fox News host hasn't shared much of what she and her husband did in Madrid, she did go on to make an Instagram story showing the couple's last day in the capital city.
She revealed in her story that she had asked a stranger to take a picture of them. Perino and McMahon can be seen enjoying some wine in a hotel.
She is seen sporting a smart outfit with a beige wrap-around skirt and a green striped shirt blouse, while Peter can be seen wearing cream pants with a black and white checked shirt.
Perino has been absent from 'The Five' in the meantime and it is still unclear when she will make her return to her regular seat on the popular Fox News show. Other guest hosts like Katie Pavlich have been filling in for her for the past week.
