'Fox & Friends' host Will Cain helps raise over $1M for Maui wildfire survivors as he questions President Joe Biden's relief efforts
MAUI ISLANDS, HAWAII: The devastating Maui wildfires have resulted in the death of about 99 people and left the island in dismal conditions, with the residents still trying to find their footing as many have lost their homes.
'Fox & Friends' host Will Cain, who has family on the island, flew to the location after wrapping up his weekend duties at the studio to report from the aftermath of the wildfires.
Moreover, when the news of the fires broke out, he swiftly decided to be a part of a GoFundMe campaign, which has been able to raise over $1 million to help the residents.
After landing on the island, Cain questioned President Joe Biden's administration multiple times by calling them out on social media, claiming that the government has failed to do enough for those affected by the wildfires.

Will Cain's GoFundMe campaign, which originally had the goal of raising $750,000, has since been able to gather over $1 million, with the new target being $1.5 million.
As the fundraiser was able to collect the massive amount in just mere six days, Cain criticized the help brought forth by President Biden's government, stating that his viewers may end up donating more money.
Cain took to X (formerly Twitter) to post, "At this point Fox viewers may end up donating more to the people of Lāhainā than Biden."

Will Cain claims Joe Biden put Ukraine over the US
Cain, who has been sharing stories about Maui residents affected by the fires, took to his social media once again to question President Biden, claiming that he's putting Ukraine over his own country.
He hinted at the apparent $113 billion aid that the US has given the country for its war against Russia.
"There are/were 13,000 residents of Lahaina. 13,000 x $700 = 1.9m. Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, - $1.9m Ukraine - $113 BILLION," wrote Cain in a X (formerly Twitter) post and soon replied to the thread adding, "Why is it so comparatively hard to say and do for East Palestine, Ohio and Lahaina, Hawaii and so easy to support Ukraine ?"
Later, he continued, "On one hand, my math was bad, it’s 9.1 not 1.9. I’m tired. Little sleep. Sorry. On the other hand, it’s $700 per HOUSEHOLD not resident. So…less," correcting his original calculation, while also reiterating that the promised $700 help for Maui households is far less compared to the alleged aid given to Ukraine.
