Four dogs maul man to death while working in Jurupa Valley, surrendered for 'humane euthanasia'
JURUPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA: A man died while working in Jurupa Valley in early hours of Tuesday, March 6, after he was fatally attacked by a pack of dogs. Officers from the Riverside County Animal Services were dispatched to the property in response to a call for assistance from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies who originally arrived at the scene – located at a residential property that has been converted into a business on the corner of Bellegrave Avenue and Martin Street – were dispatched after receiving reports of screaming in the area. That said, the owner of the home business was not present at the time of the attack, which took place at around 7.30 am.

'This is a tragedy'
The owner surrendered the four dogs upon arriving at the scene. Authorities identified the canines in question as three Belgian Malinois and one Cane Corso. They were given up to animal services for "humane euthanasia." The victim's identity has not been released at the time of publication. However, animal services believe he was on the property to do some work for the owner at the time of the fatal attack. "This is a tragedy and our thoughts go out to this gentleman's family and loved ones," Riverside County Animal Services Director Erin Gettis said in a statement. He added that the mauling was a "horrific reminder for dog owners to be vigilant in keeping communities, dogs, and people safe." An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

It was an abandoned dog she had decided to pet just a few days ago before it brutally attacked the 67-year-old woman. She reportedly found the dog in a field near Valencia, located on the country’s southeastern coast. As per local reports, authorities arrived at the scene at around 2 pm on February 24, after residents heard screams from the alleged attack. “So that the emergency services could help the woman, the regulatory firearm was used, killing the animal,” said the Civil Guard. eleIt added, “The agents of the Civil Guard and the medical services managed to stabilize her in order to proceed with her transfer to the nearest medical center.” The woman who succumbed to her injuries was hospitalized in critical condition. She lived alone as both her daughters were staying abroad.
