FLORIDA: A former New York Jets running back has allegedly beaten up his ex-girlfriend brutally in front of their 5-month-old son at the woman’s Florida home. The incident reportedly happened on Saturday, November 13, when Zac Stacy -- who played in eight games for the Jets in 2015 -- went to see the kid at the victim’s place -- who has been identified just as Kristin.

The 30-year-old is accused of punching the woman in the head numerous times before slamming her into a TV. The video of the incident taken from a surveillance camera has been shared by the victim's friend on Twitter that showed the TV falling over the woman. It also showed Zac throwing something at her as she pleaded to him to keep calm.

The caption of the footage shared on Twitter read, “This happened to my best friend Kristin in front of their child. Now that a federal warrant has been issued, she feels safe sharing this. #ZacStacy is on the run from Florida in Nashville, TN. Please expose this monster and help catch him pt 3.”

After the violent attack, the woman reportedly informed the police about it. She also applied for a restraining order against him for her and her baby. Kristin’s application stated, “He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me. He then picked me up and threw me into my TV. The TV began to fall and he turned to make sure I wasn't getting up. As I laid on the floor he began to yell at me, telling me I'm destructive. He then picked me up off the floor and off my feet and body slammed me into our son's bouncy seat.”

The woman also claimed that she “fears for her life and her children's lives.” It has been said that the victim was admitted to a hospital for a possible head wound as well as bumps and bruises. While Stacy is reportedly on the run.

Meanwhile, the incident's video has attracted a lot of attention online. It has been viewed more than 70k times with comments condemning the violence. A user tweeted, “This is the shit that destroys children's nervous system and gives them a childhood they need to heal from. I should fucking know. I can't imagine where I would be if I could have used all the energy that I needed to survive to thrive. I hope the woman and children stay safe.”



 



 



 

The second user wrote, “Damn. You can’t unsee or take that back. Guys PLEASE GET OUTTA THERE Before this Happens! This Is UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! We CANNOT DO THIS EVER!!!! Just LEAVE! No matter HOW MUCH YOURE HURTING!!! WE CANT AS MEN DO THIS! Swallow Your PRIDE AND THE PAIN!” “This is disgusting. I hope he is arrested ASAP. I am so sorry this happened to your friend. Keep us updated on her safety please,” the third user added.



 



 

A person said, “That was beyond hard to watch. And what’s worse, I’ve been there. Lots of us have. Please let her know we are sending her love and strength, and are standing beside her.” Another one added: “I hope he is caught and plz ask Kristin to start a go fund me to cover the child’s expenses.  I think people will want to help and I’m sorry they had to go through that.”
