Former ‘GMA’ host Sam Champion sets hearts afire with his 'messy' look in weekend selfie
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former ‘Good Morning America’ meteorologist Sam Champion has blessed his fans and followers with a completely rugged look with his weekend selfie.
The 62-year-old weatherman sported a major change to his appearance in a new snap, looking completely messy, unlike his regular self.
In the snap shared to his Instagram story, Champion admitted he’s a “mess” with his usual clean-shaven and dry-haired look totally out of proportions.
Sam Champion surprises with a rugged look over the weekend
Champion recently joined Eyewitness News Mornings at ABC7 NY as one of its co-hosts with Mike Marzaa and Shirleen Alcott.
After wrapping up the first week of his new position on Eyewitness News Mornings, Champion took some time off in Miami, Florida, with his husband, Rubem Robierb, on vacation.
The former ‘GMA’ star decided to keep his usual clean-shaven routine behind and instead went for a messy hair and bearded look.
He took the time on vacation to change his appearance a little and then decided to share this rugged look with his fans and followers on Instagram.
In the snap, Champion was sporting a dirty-blonde mustache and a beard stubble.
He captioned the post with two stickers, "Weekend mode," and "I'm a mess."
Champion sat in his car in a blue t-shirt, messed up hair, and a slight smile as he clicked the photo.
The ex-‘GMA’ meteorologist is usually seen clean-shaved with his grey hair neatly parted and combed back but in the snap, Champion ditched his everyday look to tune into more with a vacation vibe.
GMA’s Sam Champion changed his look in the past
Only last month, the former ‘GMA’ meteorologist was on vacation with his husband and made a slight change in his appearance than usual.
In August, he took a vacation to Morro De Sao Paulo Bahia in Brazil and shared a selfie with Robierb on his Instagram story.
The Eyewitness News Morning host held a cup of coffee up to the camera while wearing a simple dark T-shirt.

He kept his look mostly clean but his face was covered in scruffy-looking stubble, and his hair was pushed down instead of fluffed up like usual.
Champion surely knows how to build a vacation look for himself by completely ditching the neat and presentable look for the television.
For now, Champion can be spotted on Eyewitness News Mornings at 10 am on ABC7 NY.
