Ex-'Baywatch' star Yasmine Bleeth unrecognizable as she walks her dog in Los Angeles 17 years after quitting Hollywood
Former 'Baywatch' bombshell Yasmine Bleeth made a rare public appearance as she was spotted walking her dog in Los Angeles.
Bleeth shot to fame in the '90s playing the bodacious Caroline Holden in 'Baywatch'. The TV superstar, however, hasn't been pictured in public for years, The Sun reports.
She retreated from public life following struggles with substance abuse and was barely spotted over the past 17 years.
Nonetheless, Bleeth appeared to be content with life as she walked her beloved pooch. Check out the pictures here.
The 51-year-old sported a casual attire in a patterned maxi dress and brown sandals, which she coupled with a black zip-up hoodie. To complete the look, she tied her curly hair back into a loose ponytail and appeared totally makeup-free.
Yasmine sent jaws dropping after a guest appearance on the fourth season of 'Baywatch' and would go on to steal the show for the three consecutive seasons.
The stunning model became one of Hollywood's hottest stars as she filmed 72 episodes in total over a period of five years. She even featured in a series of spin-off films and TV shows.
Bleeth's 'Baywatch' success helped launch her modeling career, and she also released her own line of swimwear at the time.
But the actress's career fell apart due to substance abuse issues, and her behavior behind the scenes resulted in studios and directors blacklisting her because she was considered challenging to work with.
Bleeth eventually overcame her cocaine dependence after checking into the Malibu-based Promises Rehabilitation Clinic. However, she soon relapsed after leaving the center and was arrested in 2001 after police found cocaine in her vehicle following an accident.
She was subsequently sentenced to two years probation and 100 hours of community service as part of a plea deal. Yasmine, who has not acted since 2003, previously had roles in shows such as 'Nash Bridges' and 'Titans'. She met strip club owner Paul Cerrito while she was in rehab, and the duo married in August 2002.
The couple is now happy and split their time between Los Angeles and Scottsdale, Arizona.
