Floyd Mayweather's daughter Iyanna arrested, upset fans say that's what happens when you have a 'juvenile' dad
Floyd Mayweather's daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, was arrested on Saturday (April 4) by the Houston police around 1:30 am for allegedly stabbing NBA Youngboy's baby mother, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs. Law enforcement officials who were present at the scene state that an argument erupted between Jacobs and Iyanna.
It started when Iyanna said she was the rapper's fiance and asked Jacobs to leave. The two later took the argument to the kitchen where she was reportedly holding two knives, as reported by TMZ. Jacobs told the police that she did not feel the first knife wound while adding that it was followed by a second attack.
She was reportedly laying on the ground when the police had arrived and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Her condition now remains unknown. However, Iyanna had a different story who said that Jacobs had pulled her and pushed her out of the house. She further added that she had never met Jacobs before this incident.
While it is not clear how the incident took place or who is to be blamed, fans sure have made up their mind about Iyanna's upbringing. "That's what happens when you have a juvenile man as a father who is more obsessed with bragging about his money than raising his kids well," read one tweet.
Another added, "Out of all the movies I've seen, out of all the family get-togethers. When somebody pulls a knife that's when everybody HAS to jump in. Never heard of a successful stabbing when people are present. Attempted murder she's going to get hit with the book." Another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "I assume daddy never taught his daughter how to fight since she picking up knives."
Meanwhile, others suggested that she should have understood the dynamics of the relationship when she entered the house at that hour. "Sorry sis, if she was at his house at 1:30, am then you already knew what it really was and should have just left," read one comment. While some felt bad for Floyd as another comment read, "2020 is the worst your Floyd Mayweather's life lost uncle Rodger, his baby mama for his kids has died and now you daughter is in jail."
