'Floribama Shore': Mattie Lynn feels like an Oreo as she is stuck between Jeremiah and Gus
Mattie Lynn Breaux entered the house and helped the cast members come together and have a fun time. However, the fun soon turned out to be a nightmare when Gus Smyrnios and Jeremiah Buoni argument started getting worse. While Mattie did not know a lot about the fight between the two, in today's episode she confessed that she did want to pick a side.
Jeremiah and Gus got into an argument when Gus felt like Jeremiah did not have his back when a house guest spoke ill about the Floribama boys. Gus was upset that Jeremiah took the side of the guest rather than sticking by him. This was the start of series of events that led to their falling out.
While Jeremiah thought that he had always treated Gus as his family member, Gus thought that Jeremiah wasn't the same. Amid all this, Mattie's entry did not do them any good. Before entering the show, Gus and Mattie were friends and it was because of this friendship that Mattie got to meet the other cast members.
Even though Gus and Mattie were hanging out in the house, things changed when Mattie was introduced to Jeremiah. Jeremiah and Mattie shared a connection, which both of them noticed. While the two did not act upon it, they both confessed to the camera that they thought they felt comfortable in each other's company.
While Jeremiah and Mattie were getting close, Gus and her relationship was slowly falling apart. Mattie would often find herself standing by Jeremiah's side while distancing herself from Gus. However, she knew that her friendship with Gus dates back to when they did a show together and she felt like she should stand by his side for the sake of that.
However, she cannot help but understanding Jeremiah better and added that she felt like an Oreo as she thought she was sandwiched between Gus and Jeremiah. Even though Mattie is trying hard to be fair to both of them it seems like the fight is taking the better of her.
