French First Lady Brigitte Macron rocks $700 Louis Vuitton white trainers and skinny pants at G7 Summit
France's First Lady Brigitte Macron looked her stylish best as she arrived at the Hotel du Palais sporting a pair of white wedge-shaped Louis Vuitton trainers for the first day of the G7 Summit in Biarritz, France.
The 66-year-old's running shoes are priced at around $700 (£575). The shoes also featured a wedge-shaped outsole, adding a little height to her frame. The shoe heads featured the French designer's logo.
Macron looked relaxed in her trainers. She donned a blue, white and pink striped navy detailed Vuitton blazer and wore the blazer buttoned up.
According to Daily Mail, the blazer is speculated to be custom-made with similar blazers by the designer that cost an estimated $3070 (£2500) to $3685 (£3000). She completed her outfit with a pair of blue jeans, that are also available from Vuitton and cost around $1155 (£940).
Post her arrival at the hotel, Macron changed into a custom-made cream Louis Vuitton dress. The dressed was designed with long sleeves and the First Lady chose to swap her trainers for high heels with gold detailing.
Macron becomes the most recent woman to be seen in public wearing white trainers as part of a formal outfit. Earlier this month, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was spotted wearing a Superga white 2750 trainers at the King's Cup regatta. She completed her outfit with a nautical-themed stripy top and navy blue trousers.
At the same time, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, who is known to be a fan of Veja, was seen sporting a pair of trainers from the brand during her royal tour of Australia with Prince Harry in October 2018.
Earlier this week, Macron was seen for the first time since July. She had then reportedly undergone a three-hour cosmetic "facial rejuvenation" surgery in Paris at a private hospital.
She looked fresh-faced prior to a meeting with Russia's President Vladimir Putin and her husband at the Fort de Bregancon. It was the first time that Macron was seen since her surgery after she recovered from it. Macron was spotted wearing a sling at that time suggesting she might be healing from an injury.
