Farrah Abraham took to Instagram on Thursday (July 19) to share the devastating news about her dog's passing. The 'Teen Mom' alum posted a video which showed her and her daughter, Sophia sitting next to their beloved dog, Blue, who passed away on Wednesday (July 18). In a long post, she described the loss: "7/18/2018 I had to share this as this doesn’t even seem real tonight we lost a best friend, a little brother to my daughter & most adorable Pomeranian BLUE, I remember like yesterday bringing him home to Sophia from Florida and having Blue in our lives for 5 years now brought such a sense of love, support, relief, joy, fun & so much more I’ll be grateful for the rest of my life," she wrote. The post, however, had her fans divided.

"As a single mom this little guy has been my right-hand man through everything and you all have shown so much love to BLUE over the years that it’s surreal we are even having to say he passed away tonight at around 8:35 pm," she further added before telling her fans how his death was surreal as he had  gone " out to potty on his balcony and literally no noise! no signs! and Sophia sees him just stop moving and she try’s to figure out what is going on & yells for me I’m in disbelief and she hands me my half limp Blue," she further wrote.

She further added that his memory will always be remembered as she wrote, " I’m very proud of Sophia saying her goodbyes and loving her best friend and little brother so much - from tag, to sleeping together the memories melt my heart. Losing your family’s best friend is awful and Sophia & I have had many firsts but I never thought a first like this would ever happen."

People were quick to comment on the post and some people did not take well that Farrah would film the death of her dog and post it on social media. "Filming this is sociopathic, psycho behavior!!! Someone needs to investigate Farrah," wrote one, while another added, "You should keep these kinds of things to yourself. There is no reason for you to post videos of something like this. No sympathy."

Another expressed their disappointment in a comment that read, "This is why I get mad. Like this woman is filming her daughter lose her first pet like it’s a happy memorable moment. I just can’t." Others thought that the reality star might have uploaded the video for attention as the comment read, "Attention hungry much???" However, there were others who commented with words of support for Farrah and Sophia.

"I'm so sorry for your loss! It's so hard, I know, I lost my cat, my boy Tigger, and I cried for weeks on end. It will get better with time but he will always be with you in spirit and in your hearts. Prayers for you and Sophia, and again, I'm so sorry!" wrote one, while another added, "I'm so so sorry to see you and your daughter in pain. I also have 2 dogs that have been with me and my 3 children as a single mom going through good and bad times. This is heartbreaking. Hang in there you two."
