Farrah Abraham goes shopping with daughter after being slammed for filming racy bikini video in front of her
Proving she did not care about critics blasting her for posing in a skimpy bikini in front of her minor daughter last month, Farrah Abraham went out shopping with Sophia, 10, on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood on Saturday, February 8.
While the 'Teen Mom OG' star, 28, chose to don a body-hugging red top and fitted black pants, Sophia wore a cute pink dress and appeared to carry a stuffed animal.
On January 21, the mother-of-one was slammed by her fans after she filmed a racy video on a yacht, where she danced wearing a two-piece red bikini that left little to the imagination, in the presence of her daughter. She later defended herself against the backlash in an interview with TMZ.
“I have to say there is nothing wrong with a woman being, like, fully dressed in clothing — if that’s a bikini set or whatever," she told the outlet. “I feel like a lot of moms are sex-shamed — which I have definitely have been in my life — and I think when I’m single, gorgeous, young and beautiful, I would almost regret looking back at my life not living a happy, outgoing life. I would definitely hope my daughter is never shamed to cover up herself and not be her happiest.”
However, last month was not the first time Farrah was in the news for questionable reasons. She has often been chastised in the past for her openness to displaying her sexuality in front of her daughter. In fact, there have been times when Sophia has even been tasked with handling the camera as her mother made a video of herself getting butt injections.
When Sophia was just three years old, Farrah was accused of waxing her eyebrows and posting pictures of her wearing a full face of makeup. However, when people displayed their concern over the fact that the 10-year-old was growing up too fast, Farrah brushed the comments aside, maintaining that Sophia was “very much her kid self,” and is “more well behaved than I see of her other kids and her other peers. I’m very blessed.”
