SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: The ‘RHOSLC’ housewives are known to stir up drama and controversy. And Whitney Rose is known for some of the most memorable and dramatic moments on the show. Be it her feud with Heather Gay or her “romantic” semi-nude art session with husband Justin Rose that reportedly cost him his job, Whitney knows how to stir things up!

Justin, who was caught in a Pyramid scheme last season, revealed the true reason behind his company letting him go in the show’s most recent episode. In ‘RHOSLC’ Season 3 Episode 6, the sales executive went to his wife with the tragic news of him being fired. He also read the message he intended to post on social media addressing the new change. Justin further explained that his company decided to let him go citing “Whitney being a public figure,” causing his wife’s face to turn sour. Whitney quickly pointed out, “So, the fact that your wife has a career and is successful, you can no longer work here?” She also noted that it had everything to do with them “shaming” her for the kind of woman she was.

Whitney continued to express her rage, stating that the event of Justin’s firing reminded her why she exited the Mormon church. She said, “It is normal to want to be intimate with your husband,” and continued to add, “It feels like that final straw is when we did the ‘Love is art’. Yeah, that could be cringey, but I’m freakin’ proud of that. I feel like this is taking me back to when I was 18, like, if you’re not a man, you can’t have it.” Whitney then noted that she felt like Justin was asked to “suppress” his wife or leave. While the housewife may have experienced a wave of feminism rush through her, fans were not too fond of her reaction. Many noted how “insensitive” she had been toward her husband by turning the ordeal into a “pity party” for herself. And how Whitney did not once bother to ask Justin how he felt about being fired.

Fans on Twitter were quick to slam the Wild Rose Beauty founder for her lack of emphathy for her husband. One viewer wrote, “I hope Whitney’s mortgage company understands that she’s proud of the soft porn act that cost her husband his corporate salary. Ask Kim Z what happens when hubby loses that check.” Another noted her lack of empathy for Justin, and wrote, “Whitney not once asked how her husband felt. Wow. Really sad.” One fan pointed out, “Is Whitney really turning Justin’s firing into a pity party for herself?.” And another called her out for unnecessarily acting like the victim, writing, “I swear Whitney is new Kyle..'I'm the victim'” One viewer wrote, “Whitney turns her husband’s firing into being about her.” Someone noted her false assumptions, writing, “no offense to o whitney but im sure the words “let’s fire justin because his wife is successful” never came out his employers mouth it had everything to do with that cringey a*s scene tho.” And one person blamed the raunchy scene from last season and wrote, “Not Whitney thinking because she has a career and is successful is the reason for Justin getting fired. That scene y’all did last season is what did it. Who wants to see their boss do that.”
