Billie Eilish fans are not happy with her after the star announced that the tickets to her 2020 “Where Do We Go?” world tour will be fully refunded because she won’t be performing this year due to the Covid-19. Taking to Twitter, she posted a lengthy message for her fans that read, “Hi guys, i wish that I could have seen you on tour this year. i've missed performing for you and being onstage so much i can’t even tell you. We’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but none are possible and, although i know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the best thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can.”

The 18-year-old continued, “Keep an eye on your email for more info from your point of purchase and when we’re ready and it’s safe we’ll let you know when everyone will be able to purchase tickets again for the next tour. I love you so much. Stay safe, drink lots of water, wear a mask.” Pollstar reported that more than 500,000 tickets of the 42-stop arena tour were sold in North America, South America and Europe within the first hour of being on sale.

Though Eilish’s message was not intended to hurt her fans, they didn't all react in a good way. One upset fan wrote on Twitter, “please god no, it was so so hard to even get a ticket for my partner and they’ve been waiting years to see you. is there any way we can just hold on to our ticket at all?” The second user said, “Getting tickets was nearly impossible the first time they were on sale and now they are gonna be even harder to get. I just wanna keep mine so bad.”

“My 11 year old was in tears when we told her we had billie tickets. Can’t believe you wouldn’t just let us hold onto the tickets. Disappointed is not the words,” the third fan commented. While another one added: “I’d rather keep my tickets. I tried super hard to get them. This is a horrid decision. You do realize due to the fact that you only refund the original buyer, many people are now going to get scammed? People are going to take advantage of this and not refund people they sold to.”

But there were some people who supported Eilish’s decision as a fan said, “so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the best thing we can do everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we cana. keep an eye your email for more info from your point of purchase and when we are ready ant it's safe we will let you know.” Another one commented, “y'all shush maybe of you watched her vanity fair video for this year you would understand how bad she wants to and not be begging them to not resale the tickets when they can tour, AT LEAST THEY ARE GIVING YOUR MONEY BACK take it and stop being petty.”
