Fans mock xQc's manager for not reminding streamer about presenting at Streamy Awards: 'Counting stake money somewhere'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Felix "xQc," often known as xQc, is a well-known Twitch and Kick streamer.
Recently when he saw the official announcement that he will be speaking at this year's Streamy Awards on August 27, he had a really funny moment on stream.
xQc first came across the post introducing him as a presenter while watching Gamescom Opening Night Live on Twitch, he initially found it hard to believe. What did the pro streamer say?
Did xQc forget about hosting the event?
The situation evolving, xQc forgetting about hosting the event got even funnier after he asked his viewers about the date of the 2023 Streamy Awards, where he was supposedly going to be presenting.
After an initial surprise and horror, xQc was stunned into silence when his admirers informed him that it would be up in approximately five days. He said, "When is it? What? On Sunday! Yo, dude!"
Regular viewers of the Canadian streamer will be aware that He has built a reputation for failing to show up to events after making a commitment.
While this has become a running joke in the community, Felix's failure to attend Sh*tCamp 2022 had quite the impact, with prominent streamers like HasanAbi calling him out for cancelling at the last minute.
How did xQc respond to the situation?
xQc attempted to explain his forgetfulness after glancing incredulously at the post on his broadcast co-streaming the Gamescom Opening Night Live.
He advised his viewers that he likely accepted to present at the Streamy Awards late at night and forgot about it.
He said, "Bro, it must have been like I said yes at like 5 AM in the morning and went to bed and I forgot." Several fans however blamed the pro streamer's manager on subreddit r/LivestreamFail.
A user wrote, "His manager is counting Stake money somewhere and got reminded on stream." Second user wrote,"Is his manager a land or sea mammal?"
Another wrote, "I think its a hybrid." While the fourth user wrote, "He's a platypus." One more fan labeled him,"A hippo."
