Fans demand Michael Strahan’s return to ‘GMA’ as ex-NFL star ditches morning show for another gig

Michael Strahan appeared on 'The $100,000 Pyramid' a few days after fans questioned his absence from 'GMA'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Michael Strahan continues to ditch his duties as host of the morning show. Fans have now sternly demanded his return as soon as possible.

However, the 51-year-old who has been missing from ‘GMA’ for nearly a week, having made his last appearance on October 26, has now resurfaced on television with his other hosting gig, ‘The $100,000 Pyramid’.

Strahan was seen in a couple of photographs shared by Pyramid’s Instagram handle lately. Whether he will return to ‘GMA’ still remains a mystery.

Much to the dismay of the fans of the morning show, Strahan returned, but not to the sets of ‘GMA’.

He instead resurfaced as the host of 'The $100,000 Pyramid' on Wednesday, November 1.

The episode that aired, and all of this season's episodes, were pre-taped. But, it is the first time he has appeared on TV in nearly a week.

The former NFL star failed to give an explanation for his whereabouts lately and has not posted anything on his social media for quite a while.

In his absence, Rebecca Jarvis and Linsey Davis have been filling in for ‘GMA’ but concerned fans of the morning show did pose some questions.

One fan tweeted, "@GMA just curious where's @michaelstrahan? we haven't seen him for the last week and a half?”

Another asked, “Why have you not been on Good Morning America lately?”

A fan was so frustrated that he wanted to remove Strahan from ‘GMA.’

He said, “Yeah, time to get rid of him. That guy is the biggest no-show in the business.”

‘The $100,000 Pyramid' posted photos of the November 1 episode on Instagram. 

Michael was in the photos with that night's celebrity guests - Rosie O'Donnell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Holly Robinson Peete, and her husband Rodney Peete.

The caption promised stars, prizes, and fun on the episode. In the pictures, the former footballer wore his typical formal wear.

He donned a gray suit with a white striped shirt and floral tie. There is no confirmation as to when Strahan will return to the morning show but for now, the former NFL star continues to honor his other ventures.
