LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’s’ meteorologist Ginger Zee’s climate activism and reports on extreme weather conditions across the US have been rampant with critiques about the negligent behaviors of people and their role in rising temperatures. Throughout summer, Zee has been at various locations across the country reporting on flash floods, and ocean heat among other problems, and with its incessant coverage now reaching its zenith, many fans have decided to retaliate.

Recently, Zee was once again in the middle of a segment reporting about the record heat wave that has engulfed the nation. She mentioned an organization named "The World Weather Attribution" group which has said that “this summer's heatwave in the desert southwest, Europe and parts of Asia would be virtually impossible without human influence.” Tired of Zee’s relentless coverage of climate change over the last few weeks, a few fans called out the ‘GMA’ host’s hypocrisy on her Instagram handle, mocking her by asking about her carbon footprint.

'How many flights u fly on this week? You are part of your fabricated problems’

Zee was reporting live from St. Petersburg, Florida on the report by the World Weather Attribution group about the human influence on climate change. Her only mistake was to post this clip on her Instagram handle, hoping it would start a healthy discussion among her followers. Though some echoed her voice, a few had enough of her continuous coverage of climate change and finally called out her hypocrisy. One fan reminded Zee, “How many flights u fly on this week? You are part of your fabricated problems! Your act has been a charade” A second said, “What a load of horse s**t.”

A third fan questioned Zee’s methodology and asked for the reasoning behind her statements. “Wheres is the science behind these shallow words and fear-mongering?” While a fourth said, "The man-made climate hoax purveyors are working overtime.” A fifth reminded Zee that it’s not all that bad and the country was hotter in the past. “It was hotter in the '30s in the US.” Even after these crude and distasteful remarks, Zee does not look to back down from the fight of sharing the effects of climate change in the country and the direction where it’s headed.

Ginger Zee visits the next destination for ‘7th Inning Snacks’

The ‘GMA’ meteorologist kickstarted the morning show’s ‘7th Inning Snacks’ series to find the nation’s best ballpark snacks in Cleveland. Turns out, Zee has now moved on to the second leg of this series in Tampa Bay, Florida, the home of the baseball team Tampa Bay Rays. Zee hosted another segment with the team’s mascots and a few children supporters, tasting the food on offer. Towards the end of the segment, Zee was also bestowed with a Tampa Bay Rays jersey with the number one written on the back.
