'F minus level work': Fans believe Kardashians signed secret multi-million dollar deal with Coca-Cola
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Kim Kardashian’s son Psalm celebrated his fourth birthday, guess who took the center stage, at least according to the fans? Kim posted pictures from Psalm’s firefighter themed birthday celebration and fans could not help but notice the glaring presence of a major beverage brand. ‘The Kardashians’ superstar posted at least two photos where Coca-Cola bottles were displayed prominently.
For Psalm’s birthday party, it was reported that Kim made extravagant plans, that included a four-tier birthday cake and covering the entire floor of her Los Angeles mansion with red and orange balloons. In one photo an unopened bottle of Coke could be seen on the beverage counter that also showed the drinks menu. In another instance, Kim was holding an unopened bottle of Coke against a background of the aforementioned balloons. However, as Kim’s photos went viral, fans could help but wonder in a Reddit post, can they “expect her to spend time with her kids FOR FREE?”

Secret deal?
Earlier, it was reported by The US Sun that the Kardashians probably made a secret deal with Coca-Cola as most of the Kardashians, including Kim and Kourtney posed with the beverage. Kim and Pete Davidson were seen in a photo sharing a meal while a can of Diet Coke was displayed prominently. Similarly, during the 2022 Grammys, Kourtney and Travis Barker posed in front of a Coca-Cola refrigerator.
'Shouldn’t she just afford it herself?'
A Reddit user commented, “Imagine looking back on your childhood to see that your birthday party was sponsored so that your parents could make a quick buck.” “What billionaire needs her kid’s birthday past to be sponcon. Shouldn’t she just afford it herself?” asked another fan in the comments section. A third person wrote, “LOL imagine having all the resources in the world and you throw a kid a party with Coke branding. That’s some F minus level work.”
One confused fan even asked how the whole celebrity branding works, “I always wonder how this works. Like do folks who don’t typically drink soda say “oh Kim posted a pic holding a bottle of coke! I better go get some!” Or “Let me put down this can of Pepsi and grab a bottle of coke!” Like does this kind of marketing even work??” One even referenced Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi campaign by saying, “Because Kendall did such a great job promoting Pepsi?” The sixth noticed the careful placement of the Coca-Cola bottle by saying, “I noticed the Coke product placement too. It would never have been there unless Kim was profiting in some way.”
Another commented, “Maybe so when people search "Coke and kardashians" this will show up instead.” Another fan who had noticed Saint having a Coke in a Lakers game said, “Omg!! I thought it was weird Saint had a Coke at the Lakers game!! So they are influencers for Coke now lol!!” “Since their show is failing, they have to come up with other avenues of income,” quipped in another.
Another said, “Because, giving a small child a can of sugar and unpronounceable(sp) chemicals is a great idea!” Another said, “And suddenly I hate Coca cola.” “We didn't expect her to spend time with her kids FOR FREE did we?” a social media user quipped.
There were few who however raised eyebrows on seeing 7Up on the drinks menu. "But what’s up with using 7up for the drink? Isn’t that part of Pepsi?" asked one. "Not only that, but the ingredients say 7 Up.. that’s not even a Coke product!" commented another.
