British actor Joseph Quinn gained a lot of love and popularity after playing Eddie Munson in 'Stranger Things​' and the fans want him to know how thankful they are. During an appearance at Comic-Con, the 29-year-old actor got emotional after a fan showed gratitude for sharing his time with fans.

According to a report by Buzzfeed, the 'Stranger Things' breakout star's appearance was oversold by 400 tickets at London Film and Comic-Con on Saturday, July 9, and staff at the event ended up "yelling" at the star for taking too long with the fans. During a Q&A session, a fan of the 'Stranger Things' star who also has a cult following online, said, "Mine's not really a question, it's just more an extension of gratitude. A lot of us have heard of what happened yesterday, whether it's true or not, about how you were treated."

"I really want to say, we're really grateful that you're sharing your time. Thank you for signing our things, for spending time with us and making our summer. I think we've all connected to Eddie for one reason or another. Whether we like his taste in music, or that he's the outsider. I think all of us are a part of Eddie. We've traveled far because we really connected with you as well and you made our weekend," said the fan.

Overwhelmed by the message and support, Quinn couldn't control his tears and was seen as visibly emotional. The actor proceeded to wipe away his tears and quipped, "Why'd you do that?" Meanwhile, netizens were outraged by the staff's behavior and lack of professionalism in the way they treated Quinn. They made their opinions about the incident very clearly.

One user tweeted, "I had such a good weekend at @Showmasters but I will say one thing, if you guys continue to treat your guests the way you treated Joseph Quinn you are going to lose out on a lot of your regulars with that outrageous behaviour from your staff. It's disgusting how he was treated." Another said, "The organisation was a shambles and the staff were rude as hell. But Joseph Quinn was so genuine and friendly and gave me a hug even though the staff were yelling at him to hurry up. Top bloke. #LFCC".

A third wrote, "The way Joseph Quinn was treated at LFCC is fucking disgusting. Staff fully yelled at him to shut the fuck up and to just sign and not to interact with fans bc they over sold and couldn't get all people seen." A fourth added, "The way LFCC treated Joseph Quinn was horrendous, I feel so bad for him. Both Joe and the fans were treated like shit all for LFCC to make as much money as possible. LFCC really need to treat the guests with respect. And the 'staff' constantly shouting at you, WTF #LFCC2022."

On the other hand, fans couldn't stop gushing over the sweet moment when Quinn got emotional because of the fan message. One user felt, "This is what a real celebrity looks like.
