Black Eyed Peas in a pod: Fergie and son Axl rock Guns N' Roses concert tees as they grab lunch together
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: It was a bright sunny day in Santa Monica when former Black Eyed Peas singer-rapper Fergie took her son out to grab a bite at the Brentwood Country Mart! Fergie and her son Axl Jack, 9, were both in a rock-and-roll mood as they both pulled off Guns N’ Roses concert t-shirts for their day out.
Fergie was seen wearing a loose-fitting Guns N’ Roses concert tee with some comfortable loose-fitting pants. She paired the look with a medium sized gray handbag and let her hair loose, down her back. She also wore sunglasses and uber casual open toe sandals and was all smiles with her young son. Her son Axl, who is named after Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses, was also spotted wearing a Guns N’ Roses concert tee, with the slogan that read ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ a song by the renowned band. He paired the tee with dark gray pants and finished off his look with a pair of black sneakers.

In a 2013 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Fergie said Axl's name came to her in a dream she had while pregnant. "I had this dream and I was in the audience at this festival. It was outdoors and it was all grimy and nobody knew who I was," she said. "On stage singing was Jim Morrison and then came Bob Marley and then Axl Rose. I was in heaven in this dream and I'm dancing and just getting into the music. It was really beautiful . . . and I woke Josh [Duhamel] up and I said, 'Honey, honey, honey, he kicked me. He finally kicked me.'"
This latest appearance comes less than 10 days after it was reported that Fergie had listed her California estate, one which was built by the singer and her father in 2013. The property was listed for $4.275 million.
Fergie shares her only son Axl with ex-husband, actor Josh Duhamel. They were married for 10 years, out of which they were separated for two. They met in 2004 after the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie’s former band, had shot an episode of the TV show Las Vegas- which Duhamel was a part of. They were then married in 2009 and had their son in 2013.
Their marriage however went down the rocks and they separated after eight years of marriage in 2017. They even issued a joint statement, saying, “With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family."
Many years later now, Duhamel has remarried. He said his vows to Audra Mari, 28, a former beauty queen and model. In his Instagram post announcing the happy news, he said, “What an amazing day. I feel so lucky to have so many great friends, a supporting family, and now a wife that makes it all that much better. I love you babe @audramari.”
