LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ezra Miller surprised his fans after unexpectedly attending the premiere of DC Studios’ 'The Flash' in Los Angeles. The actor, who is currently going through legal issues, made the first public apology for alleged misconduct and related actions. Miller identifies himself as a non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They thanked Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, Warner Bros. Film Group heads Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, and DC Studio's stewards James Gunn and Peter Safran. They acknowledged them by saying: “[your] Grace and discernment and care in the context of my life. And in bringing this moment to fruition.”

The other major co-stars who were present at the Ovation Hollywood and posed for the paparazzi were Ben Affleck, and Kiersey Clemons, among others. Miller also shared his ‘love,’ for director Andy Musciett and remarked “I think you’re amazing, and I think your work is monumental.” Notably, they became the center of controversy when they were recorded choking a female friend in Iceland, however, no charges were filed. It was followed by the arrest in Hawaii for ‘disorderly conduct,’ which Miller didn’t fight and paid a $500 fine. The 30-year-old star was also arrested for harassment, but those charges were dismissed, reports PageSix.

'I am suffering complex mental health issues'

Them woes didn’t end there, felony burglary charges were filed in Vermont as they pleaded not guilty to the charges. The actor did admit to a misdemeanor of unlawful trespassing. The ‘Fantastic Beasts’ star in a statement to Variety apologized, “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment.” They continued, “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life.”

'He’s been arrested multiple times'

Some of the fans reacted to his presence at the premiere and commented, "Give him a couple years and he could have a Robert Downey-type comeback and resurgence if he plays his cards right,” using pronouns incorrectly. “He will need someone grounded to help him be whole again. I think they did a number on him, which is so sad," commented one user. While another user wrote, "RDJR was a drunk and drug addict. And that’s a lot of people, btw. Miller strangled and beat a woman, threw a chair at another, gashing her forehead. He’s been arrested multiple times for disorderliness. Drugged, kidnapped, and confined a teen. Arrested? Nah. Star in a movie? Ya!"
