Witness says Tory Lanez, driver and Kelsey Harris 'beat' Megan Thee Stallion as she lay shot and bleeding
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An eyewitness testified in Tory Lanez's trial that he observed the musician hit and kick Megan Thee Stallion as she lay on the ground bleeding from gunshot wounds. The incident also involved Lanez’s driver and Kelsey Harris, Megan’s assistant. In his testimony on December 20, Sean Kelly, whose Hollywood Hills residence overlooks the scene of the incident that took place in July 2020, said he believed the group “were trying to kill her," as per Daily Mail.
He testified in court that Lanez was yelling "a torrent of abuse" at Megan, using the N-word and phrases like "m**********r." “He was going crazy. He was really agitated,” added Kelly, who made a series of statements in court. However, he also claimed that he believed "the girl" (Kelsey Harris) had "fired the first shot." He claimed that Lanez "was firing everywhere, four or five times." Lanez, 30, has entered a not-guilty plea to three felony charges of assaulting Megan with a semiautomatic weapon, having a concealed weapon in a moving vehicle, and negligently firing a handgun. If found guilty of all three felonies, the Canadian musician, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, faces up to 18 years in prison as well as the possibility of deportation, reported the news outlet.

Megan Thee Stallion was shot as she was jealous of Kylie Jenner, Tory Lanez's attorneys claim
Megan, 27, testified last week that she and Lanez were in his SUV in the Hollywood Hills with Megan's assistant and closest friend, Kelsey Harris, on July 12, 2020, when an altercation broke out. Lanez may be summoned as a defense witness in the case. Megan and Lanez had gone to the pool party at Kylie Jenner's house that day. Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, requested the driver to stop the car and when she stepped out Lanez allegedly said "Dance b***h" and shot her feet several times, gravely wounding her to the point where she required surgery. She further stated that Lanez had promised her $1,000,000 to remain silent about the shooting.
Lanez, who is out on a $350,000 bond, reportedly apologized to her and claimed that he was reportedly intoxicated when the incident occurred. Until then, his defense team has been promoting the idea that Harris, not Lanez, fired the gun during a jealous rage at Megan after learning that the singer had slept with Lanez, who Harris liked romantically. Kelly testified before the jury that the noise of shouting and loud voices in the driveway outside his home woke him up at around 4.30 in the morning. He got out of bed to look and saw two girls fighting outside a car as he stepped out onto the balcony of his second-floor bedroom. “They were pulling hair and hitting each other. It was quite violent,” he said in court as per Daily Mail. Kelly testified in court that Lanez's driver, the "taller guy," approached the ladies and tried to separate them after getting out of the car. “Then I heard what I thought was fireworks…..I saw a muzzle flash about the same time the smaller gentleman (Lanez who is 5ft 3in) got out off the car.”
He claimed that the first muzzle flash occurred "near the girls" but when questioned by defense attorney George Mgdesyan, “Who had the gun?” Kelly said, “I never saw a gun. I just saw flashes.” “Where did you see the flashes come from?” asked the lawyer. “The girl (Harris),” said Kelly. “Did you at any point hear anyone say, Dance b***h?” Kelly was asked, to which he replied, "No.” Mgdesyan repeatedly questioned Kelly, “after you saw the female shoot, did you see the smaller man appear to try to take the gun from her.” Kelly kept mentioning how quickly everything was moving along in a snarky response that generated laughter from the audience in the packed courtroom. “It's not like he went, ‘Excuse me, can I have the gun, it's my turn.’”
