Yet another royal wedding is on the way! Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Beatrice has gotten engaged to real estate mogul Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The 34-year-old Italian property developer and father-of-one started dating the British royal in October last year, according to a Daily Mail report.

Eugenie, Beatrice's sister, congratulated her on Instagram alongside a photo she took of the happy couple. "Beabea - wow! I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo," she wrote. "It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be."

"We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement," Beatrice and Mozzi said in a statement. "We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can't wait to actually be married."

The couple added, "We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness."

The engagement pictures show Beatrice donning a green Zimmerman floral dress and flaunting her engagement ring and a love bracelet by Cartier.

Beatrice made her first official public appearance with Mozzi at the National Portrait Gallery gala in March this year, where the Duchess of Cambridge was also present. The couple has since been spotted together several times.

Photographer Misan Harriman took candid black and white pictures of the event held at Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park. They show the newly engaged couple cozying up to each other.

Sarah Ferguson, Beatrice's mother, also shared the engagement pictures on Twitter. "Princess Eugenie took the color photographs as my girls are so close," she wrote alongside.

"Beatrice and Edo wanted her to capture this special moment. The black and white photographs were taken by Misan Harriman at Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park."

"Everything clicks when they are together and that's exactly what my lens captured," Harriman added. "It was an honor to observe and document such love."
