The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards are finally here, marking the end of one of the most unexpectedly strange awards seasons in history. This is the first time in the last 72 years when there is no red carpet due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jennifer Aniston stole the show when she set fire on a bin and tried her best to knock it down with a fire extinguisher.

Aniston is nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the Apple TV's 'The Morning Show' and she surely appears to be the frontrunner for one of the night’s top awards. Not just that, Aniston's show has bagged a nomination for eight categories.

Jimmy Kimmel kicked off the night as this year's host, with his jokes on pandemic and elections 2020. And soon the hotness quotient was raised when Jennifer Aniston joined him in order to "sanitize" the winner's envelope by lighting it on fire, Aniston then tried her best to put the fire out, but the trash can fire proved a bit too strong for her extinguisher. As soon as the little 'fire incident' took place people started adoring their Aniston.

As one fan shared the video from the show and said, "Jennifer Aniston and a fire extinguisher on live tv to bless your evening." And some called it, their favorite moment and said, "My favorite #Emmy moment so far is Jennifer Aniston having to try three times to put out a fire onstage."

Another one shared a few snaps and said, "JENNIFER ANISTON TRYING TO PUT OUT THE FIRE THAT WON’T KNOCK DOWN ON LIVE TELEVISION IS THE BET THING IVE EVER SEEN #Emmys." Some made a 2020 joke and said, "Jimmy Kimmel & Jennifer Aniston almost burning live on tv at the #Emmys would have been right on brand with 2020"

And some called this "fire gig" the best moment and said, "Jennifer Aniston putting out a fire that won’t knock down on live TV is the best thing I’ve seen this year. #Emmys," while another one said that this moment should go down in Emmys history, "something to go down in #Emmys history - jennifer aniston and jimmy kimmel setting fire to a bin"

Before the show began, Aniston shared her "before" Emmy's look on Instagram. “Emmys prep… in my other mask,” the 51-year-old wrote on Instagram, showing off her chic pajamas and wearing a comforting sheet mask. Aniston blew a kiss to the camera with a glass of champagne in hand and gave a big round of applause to all of her fellow nominees. “Congratulations to the nominees and all of the amazing performances we’ve seen this year,” she wrote.
