Harry Potter stars Emma Watson and Tom Felton spark dating rumors as they play guitar together in new photo
Harry Potter fans are going crazy after Tom Felton uploaded a picture of him hanging out with former co-star Emma Watson in a seemingly intimate setting, with many now speculating that the pair are dating.
Tom, 31, shared a picture on his Instagram account of him helping Emma, 29, find her way around an acoustic guitar with the caption, "Quick learner x"
In the snap, Tom and Emma can be seen sitting together on a couch. Emma, who is wearing a pink-and-white striped ensemble, has a focused look about her as Tom seemingly teaches her about finger placement on the strings.
Emma also shared another snap posted on Tom's Instagram page on August 19, where he can be seen posing on the beach in Los Angeles wearing a T-shirt that reads, "women do it better."
Fans could hardly contain their excitement as they went about theorizing how this was finally the moment that they became a couple.
"me: men and women CAN be friends! stop seeing romance everywhere!!!!!! also me whenever tom felton posts a photo with emma watson: THEY’RE IN LOVEEEEEEE LOOK AT THE HANGING OUT LIKE A COUPLE" one tweeted.
Another wrote, "If Emma Watson and Tom Felton are actually together, I’ll die of happiness."
Emma and Tom first crossed paths when they became co-stars in the Harry Potter franchise almost 20 years ago.
Emma played the role of Hermoine Granger and Tom was cast as Harry's arch-nemesis Draco Malfoy.
While it has been more than eight years since the pair last acted together, they have continued to remain very good friends.
Before this most recent reunion, Emma and Tom had hung out with each other in southern California.
Emma even uploaded a brief video of them skateboarding along the boardwalk together.
Maybe there is some traction in the recent dating rumors because, as the fans pointed out, Emma had previously admitted in an interview about having a crush on her former co-star.
Speaking to Seventeen in 2011, she said, "For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."
Emma was recently in a relationship with businessman and tech CEO Brendan Wallace, but that romance seems to have died out.
Wallace was spotted earlier this year alongside 'Baywatch' star Alexandra Daddario.
Tom, who is known for being very secretive about his private life, called it quits with his partner-of-seven-years Jade Olivia in early 2016.
Olivia had played the role of Malfoy's wife Astoria Greengrass in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' and the pair had then become real-life partners as well.
