Emma Heming wins hearts with perfect reply to claims she's using husband Bruce Willis' diagnosis for fame
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming Willis has responded to trolls who allege she is exploiting her husband's dementia condition for "five minutes" of fame. Heming Willis recently disclosed that her husband's struggle with aphasia has progressed into frontotemporal dementia. She has since taken on the task to raise awareness about her husband's ailment. However, harsh internet trolls have been attacking her, accusing her of exploiting her husband's illness to enhance her own global image.
Heming, who's been married to the 'Die Hard' actor since 2009, has embarked on a quest to spread awareness about her husband's frontotemporal dementia. The mother of two responded to the trolls in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, saying, "I just saw something about me getting my 'five minutes,' which is great because it indicates that you're listening. So, I’m going to take my five minutes and I’m gonna turn it into 10 because I’m always going to advocate for my husband," reports Page Six.

'I’m always going to advocate for my husband'
Heming Willis uploaded the video with the caption that reads: "Just over here turning my 5 mins into 10. I’ve sat around quietly for too long and I’m so ready to be embraced by this solid and loving community my family and I find ourselves in while trying to lift them up in return. Let’s go."
"And then I'm going to turn my grief and my anger and my sadness into something good around something that feels less than," she continued, adding, "Watch this space because I didn’t come to play."
Bruce's condition has gotten worse, his family stated in a long statement last month. The family said on the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration website, "While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis." Heming committed to "raise awareness" about the condition and "for caregivers, who are unsung heroes out there."
Heming, Willis' ex-wife Demi Moore, and all five of his daughters all contributed to the statement, which also added that if the 'Whole Nine Yards' actor could, he would like to bring "global attention and connectedness" to people dealing with the "debilitating disease" and raise awareness.
The couple has two daughters together, Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8. Bruce also has three daughters with Moore - namely Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29 - to whom he was married from 1987 to 2000.
'I am so so proud of you!'
Apart from the online trolls, there's an army of online supporters who are backing up Heming's "five minutes" of fame. "HELL YES! I am so so proud of you!" the first comment from Bruce's daughter Scout Willis. One user commented, "Im becoming a bigger and bigger fan of this woman every day," while another user said, "You go girl! There is an army of people behind you." One more user said, "This community is heartbreakingly beautiful and we are all here for you. Love a dementia daughter." Another follower commented, "All good vibes, thoughts, and prayers to everyone there. Bruce is still the man! Let the man live his life in peace with his family, we can root for him from a distance."
