Elon Musk visited Amber Heard regularly at midnight when Johnny Depp 'was not at home', says actor's concierge
Johnny Depp's concierge, who worked at the actor's Los Angeles apartment building, testified in London High Court on Friday, saying he had witnessed Elon Muck make regular late-night visits to Amber Heard in her California penthouse when the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor was away.
Alejandro Romero said the Tesla billionaire would come over "a few times a week" between 11 pm and Midnight "when Mr. Depp was not at home" during the ninth day of the libel trial The Sun's publisher News Group Newspapers (NGN) and its executive editor over the April 2018 article which alleged he was violent towards former spouse Heard during their tumultuous three-year marriage.
"From March 2015 onwards, Ms. Heard was visited regularly late at night, at around 11 pm to midnight, by Mr. Elon Musk," he said. "For his initial visits, I would receive a call from Ms. Heard who would tell me to give Mr. Musk access to the garage for the building and then send him up to the penthouse. After he had made a few visits, Ms. Heard provided Mr. Musk with his own garage remote and a fob to Mr. Depp's penthouse. I believe he visited Ms. Heard a few times a week and he would always visit when Mr. Depp was not at home."
He also added that did not notice any bruises, cuts or swelling on Heard's face after the incident where the 'Aquaman' actress alleged Depp attacked her at the penthouse on May 21, 2016. "On Wednesday 25 May Ms. Heard approached me to ask for the key to her unit, which I gave to her," he said. "We did not discuss anything else at this time. Ms. Heard stood approximately three feet away from me during our conversation. I did not notice any bruises, cuts, swelling, red marks or any other injuries of any kind to Ms. Heard's face."
When The Sun's lawyer, Alejandro Romero, tried to suggest if there was a possibility that the concierge "got the dates all muddled up," he said that he remembered that it was March 2015 when Musk made the first visits because "that was when Mr. Depp injured his hand... that's how I remember exactly the year." He said that the SpaceX billionaire in the building on the same day he found out that the actor has lost part of his finger. It has been widely reported that Depp sustained the gruesome injury after a row with Heard.
When he was asked by Depp's lawyer David Sherborne why he had such a 'clear memory' of the injury to the actor's hand Romero said a friend of his was "a big fan of Mr. Depp and he was concerned about him not being able to play the guitar, that's how I remember, and then the same day I saw Mr. Musk."
While Depp has claimed that Musk was having an affair with his wife before they divorced, the latter has claimed that he started dating Heard only after the couple legally separated. "I wish to confirm again that Amber and I only started going out about a month after her divorce filing. I don’t think I was ever even in the vicinity of Amber during their marriage!” Musk told Page Six.
