Elon Musk reveals details about Colosseum fight with Mark Zuckerberg during Joe Rogan's podcast
AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan recently hosted Elon Musk on his 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast, and the Tesla CEO shared the latest developments regarding his proposed Colosseum fight with Mark Zuckerberg.
For context, in August, the Meta CEO and Musk announced their potential showdown, which was subsequently postponed due to the latter's health.
What did Elon Musk say about his possible fight with Mark Zuckerberg?
During his appearance on 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast, Elon Musk shared that the anticipated showdown between him and Mark Zuckerberg won't be taking place owing to the latter's decision.
When Rogan asked the Tesla CEO about the details and rumors surrounding the supposed match, Musk responded, "Zuck pulled out. He used the pullout method (laughs)... Listen I'm willing to; So he was like, Oh no, it's got to be UFC rules. I'm like well, okay, we're gonna have UFC rules in the Colosseum."
He added, "It's fine, but we just don't want to have it. You got to respect the historical integrity of the place... Yeah like the gladiator, you know. Come on."

What went wrong between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg?
The beef between the tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg started when the latter introduced Meta's new platform, Threads, which has a similar format to that of X (formerly Twitter). Subsequently, a possible showdown between them was suggested in June.
However, around mid-August, Zuckerberg took to Threads and wrote, "Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me."
He added, "Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously," as per PGrus.
Notably, Zuckerberg is an enthusiast of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has achieved medals in various local California tournaments at the white belt level. He attained his blue belt in late July, whereas Musk does not have any recorded involvement in martial arts.
It's now evident that the faceoff between Zuckerberg and Musk is currently on hold.
