LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ellen Pompeo, who played the iconic role of Meredith Grey in 'Grey's Anatomy' for 19 seasons, is reportedly coming back to the show after leaving in February. However, her return is not welcomed by everyone as sources claim she is making huge demands and acting arrogantly.

According to RadarOnline, Pompeo left the show because she was burned out and wanted to try new things. But the ratings of the medical drama plummeted without her and now the producers are desperate to bring her back.

Pompeo is asking for a whopping $20 million

"Ellen's developed an even bigger head since she left the show. She was already conceited but now bosses are trying to lure her back, and she's ruthlessly crowing about it," an insider told the outlet.

The source added that Pompeo is asking for a whopping $20 million for the next season as well as other perks like a personal trainer, a masseur, and special catering. “She’s saying she wants to help the struggling show — and that they’re nothing without her,” the source said.

'Some people called her a tyrant'

But not everyone is happy about Pompeo's possible return. The outlet reported that some of her former cast members were overjoyed when she quit, as they found her overbearing and tyrannical.

"She has a colossal ego and was constantly throwing her weight around when it came to other people’s performances and storylines,” an insider said. “Some people called her a tyrant and they’re glad they won’t be seeing her around anymore.”

'Truthfully, no one will miss her'

Another source shared, “She became overbearing. That rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, from the production assistants all the way up to her co-stars. Truthfully, no one will miss her.” Will Pompeo come back to Grey's Anatomy for its 20th season? And if so, how will her co-stars react? remains to be seen. Pompeo has not confirmed or denied the rumors of her return. In February, she told Drew Barrymore that she loved her experience on Grey's Anatomy, but she felt super happy to leave. "I gotta mix it up a little bit," she said.
