'Jimmy Kimmel Live!': Elizabeth Banks called ‘ditsy blonde’ as she jokes about not liking noodles amid lockdown
When WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, people across the globe began dreading what was to come. As several nations announced lockdown, people across the globe were seen rushing to stores to stock the essentials up, should the worst happen. And Elizabeth Banks also stocked up on a few things, but her husband had a very different opinion about the same.
The ‘Mrs America’ actress who appeared in Monday’s (April 27) episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ home edition and revealed her husband’s reaction to COVID-19 outbreak, viewers couldn’t stop laughing. When Kimmel asked Banks how she and her family and coping with the situation, she said her husband panicked the most as he was on top of this thing. She revealed that he had never shopped with his family and when the time came for them to stock up, all he did was purchase boxes of Ramen noodles online.
However, upon the arrival of the boxes, she realizes her husband had ordered a flavor which she isn’t a huge fan of. Banks said she may have not liked it as much as she likes her other Ramen noodles, but their children are however loving it.
Meanwhile, after watching the latest episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ where Banks casually expresses that she doesn’t like the noodles and jokes about stocking up the wrong food, fans have taken to social media to slam her for disrespecting food when thousands are in desperate need of it.
One fan wrote, “Your rich making a mockery out of poor people while you experiment with ramen noodles. What a shame. Your a perfect example of ditsy blonde. You should be ashamed of yourself. #JimmyKimmelLive”
Another added, “@ElizabethBanks Might be a good idea to donate the Ramen to a food bank. People with food insecurity are at record numbers and I’m sure a food bank would be happy to have those noodles.”
