We finally get to look at Max Charles Murphy! Eddie Murphy and his fiance Paige Butcher finally revealed to the world their adorable newborn son Max, who was welcomed by the family earlier this month. The A-list actor was snapped with Butcher, their newborn, and his nine other children in a picture taken by his oldest daughter, 29-year-old Bria Murphy. Bria shared the picture on Instagram on Tuesday, and captioned the group photo with a simple but classic 'Merry Christmas!!!' The adorable family photograph, which was taken in front of a wooden staircase, saw the Beverly Hills Cop star wearing a black turtleneck as he held two-year-old daughter Izzy Oona. 

Butcher, who is a 39-year-old Perth native, wore an all-black ensemble as she held baby Max Charles, who she gave birth to on November 30. The photograph also included  Eddie's mother Lillian as well as Paige's mother, who had come to spend the festive day with the family.

The other people in the photograph were Murphy's older kids: his son Eric with Paulette McNeely; son Christian with Tamara Hood; daughters Bria, Shayne Audra, Zola Ivy, Bella Zahra, and son Miles, with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy; and daughter Angel Iris, with Mel B.

At the time of his birth, Max weighed six pounds, 11 ounces and measured 19 inches at birth, according to the actor's publicist, Arnold Robinson. He was given 'Charles' as his middle name by his parents so as to honor the late Charlie Murphy, Eddie's older brother who died April 12 last year after a long-standing a battle with leukemia. 

Insiders later said that the couple was "very happy" to add to their family, as they were wishing for "a younger sibling" for their daughter. "They live a pretty low-key life. They are all about family," the source said. "Paige is very close to Eddie's kids. They are a very special and happy family. They vacation and spend holidays together. Paige loves being a mom and is very involved."

Eddie and Paige first started dating in 2012 and in the six years they've been together, they welcomed their first child, daughter Izzy Oona Murphy in 2016. Handling a newborn won't be an issue for Eddie, he has eight other children from previous relationships.

The couple got engaged in September after many years of their relationship, and they tend to shy away from social media and not reveal too much about their personal life either. Butcher spoke about her relationship with Murphy in an interview in 2013 saying, "I'm in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there's already enough of me out there... I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now."
