Ed Sheeran trolled for 'ugly' looks while expecting baby with Cherry Seaborn, fans tell haters 'you need help'

The couple has been staying in lockdown at the singer’s Suffolk home which made it easy for them to keep the pregnancy a secret

Fans and admirers of Ed Sheeran recently got the good news that the 'Shape of You' singer is soon going to be a father. Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn are reportedly expecting their first child together. The news follows Sheeran’s announcement that he is taking a break from music at the end of 2019, following over two years of touring.

The couple has been spending most of the year in lockdown at the singer’s Suffolk home and because of that, it was easy for them to keep their pregnancy a secret. A source told The Sun, "They’re just making the last of the preparations at home, and the baby is expected later this summer. It’s a really happy time and their families are all totally delighted for them and cannot wait to meet the new arrival. Lockdown was a perfect excuse not to be seen out and about too much, but things are getting closer and the excitement has been building so they have started telling friends and family.”

Social media went into a frenzy when the news broke. As usual, there were a few who made some snide remarks about the 'Perfect' singer. One wrote: "Something about Ed Sheeran having sex makes me uncomfortable. Like on a subconscious level I knew it was happening but I don’t like it."

Another said, "Ed Sheeran gives of the most virgin vibes, so him having a kid is making my brain implode."

A user snarkily commented, "ED SHEERAN HAS A WIFE?!? I THOUGHT HE WAS SINGLE?!?? AND GAY!?!?"

Another said, "Just remembered that there are people who willingly listen to Ed Sheeran."

However, Sheeran fans aren't the ones to keep quiet. They hit back at people who were being mean to the singer. A fan wrote: "I swear if anyone tries to say anything bad about Ed Sheeran I will fight someone!"

Another commented, "There is no way I just saw UNATTRACTIVE people calling Ed Sheeran ugly and untalented. I'm embarrassed for y’all. Anyways imma let it go and tpwk."

One user stated, "Some of y’all act like Ed Sheeran personally hurt you. He may not be conventionally attractive, but the way some of y’all talk about him is dehumanizing as f**k. Let the man and his wife be happy."

Another said, "Ed Sheeran is gonna be a dad and his wife is in her last trimester. That's how private relationship works so happy for them, Ed is gonna be a wonderful dad!"

A fan wrote, "Calling Ed Sheeran ugly doesn’t mean he’s ugly. It means YOU’RE ugly with that trashy personality. He’s married, I doubt he cares if you think he’s hot or not. Let him be."

Another slammed trolls by saying, "The amount of people calling Ed Sheeran ugly after him saying he’s having a child. Yeahh seek help."

A recent Daily Mail article suggests that 27-year-old Seaborn has taken an unlimited sabbatical from work to focus on motherhood and other work as well. The soon-to-be-mother works as a risk manager for the firm Deloitte. According to the report, she has been with the firm for six years in both their London and New York offices. The report further states that Seaborn is believed to have signed up for a post-graduate course in sustainable business at Cambridge University. The couple, is supposed to be a big believer in sustainable living and has been growing their own vegetables and also have chickens at their Suffolk home.
