The people have spoken - the 44th People’s Choice Awards was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday, November 11. The annual awards ceremony had an additional 13 categories this year making it a total of 43. It honors the best work in films, television, and music as voted by the public. Nicki Minaj opened the show this year and the ceremony featured smashing performances by Rita Ora and John Legend. Ora performed her new single 'Let You Love Me' while Legend wooed everyone with his cover of 'Pride (In the Name of Love)' by U2. He received a standing ovation for the performance.
