Although fans believe the show has finally let his real personality shine, it wasn't enough to prevent him from landing in the bottom three this week

For Matt James, being on 'Dancing With The Stars' wasn't just a chance to showcase his talent, but an opportunity to let his personality shine. After being relentlessly bashed for being 'boring' on his season, 'DWTS' provided him with the right opportunity to led out his goofy side. And while his dance moves are nothing to write home about, he certainly made the most of his time on the show.

This week on 'DWTS', for 'Disney Villains Night' he and pro Lindsay Arnold danced the Paso Doble to 'Jungle' by X Ambassadors & Jamie N Commons inspired by 'The Jungle Book'.

Len Goodman felt as though he was posture, passion and performance, but only a glimpse and believes James has a lot more to offer. Bruno Tonioli said that James had power, intent and content when it came to his performance and now needed to focus on how to refine it. Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough both maintained that he put up a great show. The judges scored him 31 out of 40, bringing his grand total up to 57 out of 80.

Although fans believe the show has finally let his real personality shine, it wasn't enough to prevent him from landing in the Bottom 3 this week, alongside Brian Austin Green and Kenya Moore. With Green being the first one to be eliminated, it was between Moore and James and when it came down to it, the head judge Goodman picked Moore to stay, ending James' journey on 'DWTS'. Even though he was not a fan-favourite, some fans were sad to see him go.

"whoever put matt james in a frozone costume for dwts is def a part of bachelor nation" joked a fan. "sad to see Matt James go but at least we'll always have this #DWTS" added another. "You really going to tell me that Grocery Store Joe (who I love) but has absolutely no rhythm made it farther on #dwts than Matt James who got all bachelor nations fan votes PLUS was actually good and got decent judge scores ??" argued a fan.

"For the first time ever, I’m upset I won’t be seeing Matt James on my TV next week #DancingWiththeStars #DWTS" tweeted a fan. "Matt James on #DWTS was seriously such a joy to watch. The stud brought so much energy to the ballroom. 👏👏👏" added another. "MATT JAMES AND LINDSAY DESERVED TO STAY. Oh man...I'm super bummed. He had such a better week than Kenya and is far more entertaining to watch. Ugh. #DWTS" stated another.
