'DWTS' Disney Night: Mel C channels Maleficent, fans say she deserved a 10

'Mel C did Maleficent proud. That was haunting and elegant,' said a fan, agreeing with the judges

For all you Disney fans, 'Dancing With The Stars' continues to fuel your ultimate Disney fantasy, as fans continue to take on the avatars of your favourite characters while dancing to hit tunes from the Disney franchise. But, while the stars nailed 'Disney Heroes Night', now it's time to unleash their bad side. 

For 'Disney Heroes Night' Melanie C and pro Gleb Savchenko danced Jazz to 'Step In Time' from 'Mary Poppins'. But, while Mel C was excited to dance to a 'Mary Poppins' song; she and Gleb Savchenko were all set to dance the Viennese Waltz to 'Once Upon A Dream' from 'Maleficent' for 'Disney Villains Night'. To her, Maleficent was all drama and girl power. Plus, Maleficent and Sporty Spice had one thing in common -- they're both competitive.

Len Goodman noted that while they created a fantastic atmosphere, the actual Viennese Waltz was missing, to him, what was on the label was not on the table. Bruno Tonioli however, stated that she made a magnificent Maleficent, bringing plenty of drama and suspended animation feeling. Carrie Ann Inaba noted that this was her best performance yet, seeing that she was evil, sensual and powerful all rolled into one. Derek Hough also agreed that it was a beautiful performance. The judges scored her performance a 35 out of 40, with Mel scoring her first 9s of the season. Combined with her 'Disney Heroes Night' score, she has a grand total of 66 out of 80.

Fans were all praises for her performance and weren't impressed that Len Goodman was the only one to score her an 8. They also believed she should've gotten the first 10 of the series. "Mel C did Maleficent proud. That was haunting and elegant. Len always gotta be complain' lol #DWTS #DWTS30" tweeted a fan. 

"Mel C dance.. so sexy and graceful what a beauty to watch. #DWTS that should be 9 9 9 9 boohoo you len." added a fan. "mel c should've gotten a 10 for that. one of my favorite viennese waltzes i've ever seen on the show #DWTS" tweeted a fan. "mel c KILLED it!!!! def deserves the first 10 of the season. it was sooooo good!!! #DWTS" added a fan. "Everytime I see Mel C I find myself saying out loud “damn she looks good” because she does  #DWTS" tweeted a fan.
