After hearing about the terrible car crash in California that left comic actor Kevin Hart with major back injuries on September 1, wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson sent a beautiful message, expressing his love and support for his 'Jumanji' co-star.

The 47-year-old actor posted a picture from their upcoming 'Jumanji' sequel in which both of them are on camel backs in the middle of a desert and appear to be arguing about something. "Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real. We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong," he wrote in the caption.

Tributes and prayers soon poured in from the injured actor's admirers. "Get better soon man. The world needs you too much. Prayers to you and yours," one fan wrote on Dwayne's post, while another commented, "Get well funnyman. Godspeed."

Dwayne was not the only celebrity who wished Kevin a speedy recovery. "Get well soon, brother," Terry Crews tweeted, while Bryan Cranston also took to Instagram to drop the message, "I've just heard that @kevinhart4real was injured today in a car accident in Los Angeles. Let's all send him positive energy and healing thoughts. He's a good human. Get well soon, brother. B."

According to a California Highway Patrol, Kevin, his driver, Jared S. Black, and co-passenger Rebecca Broxterman, were in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when it crashed at 12.45 a.m. in West Valley, California, after attempting to turn from Cold Canyon Road onto Mulholland Highway. After the driver lost control of the vintage vehicle it went off the road and rolled down an embankment, CNN reported.

While Kevin and his driver sustained "major back injuries," Broxterman suffered "only complaint of pain."

"Two of the three occupants were trapped in the vehicle. The remaining occupant and owner of the vehicle, Kevin Hart, left the scene to his nearby residence to get medical attention. The driver was located in the driver's seat of the vehicle and determined not to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Hart and Black sustained major back injuries as a result of this collision and were transported and treated at nearby hospitals (Northridge - Hart, UCLA Westwood - Black)," the press release said.

A picture of the car involved in the crash was ported by Kevin on his Instagram page in July, explaining he had got it for his 40th birthday. "I added some more muscle to the family for my 40th... welcome home 'Menace'," he wrote at the time.
