Following the success of the 'Fast and the Furious' spin-off, 'Hobbs & Shaw', Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to share a quick thank you to his fans for helping make the movie a box-office success.

"I just want to say thank you guys so, so much," Johnson said in the video. "You have officially made 'Hobbs & Shaw' not only a massive, global success — as we've just crossed $750 million dollars at the global box office — but also, you helped enable a build-out and an expansion of the 'Fast and Furious' universe."

Johnson also thanked Universal studios, his 'Hobbs & Shaw' castmates as well as the entire team. And, in what comes to a surprise, he also gave a shout-out to his 'Fast and Furious' co-star, Vin Diesel.

"Lastly, but not least, I want to thank brother Vin for your support of 'Hobbs & Shaw'," the 'Jumanji' actor said. This also suggested that the duo may have squashed their beef.

"What a wild ride this has been [since] 10 years ago when you and I spoke and you invited me into the 'Fast & Furious' family. I'm grateful for that invite. As you know, my goal was always, all these years, to come into the 'Fast & Furious' world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could..."

"We did it the right way, we did it the smart way, and again, brother, I appreciate your support," Johnson shared. The actor, who plays Luke Hobbs in the franchise, ended his video with a reference to Diesel's 'Fast and the Furious' character.

"And of course, all roads lead to one thing ... I’ll be seeing you soon, Toretto," he concluded sparking interests of fans that an on-screen reunion may be on the cards.

The tension between the two began back in 2016 when they were filming 'The Fate of the Furious'. During production, Johnson had posted a video in which he referred to some unidentified male co-stars as "candy asses" lacking professionalism.

The 47-year old also addressed the unease during an interview with Entertainment Tonight and insisted it wasn't a big deal.

"Oftentimes, just like in life, you have different philosophies and people have different fundamental philosophies on how you do things," he said. "And again, the most important thing is just the movie."

Diesel seconded the sentiment: "We still love each other, that's my boy," Diesel says of his costar. "When I was making that difficult decision, should there be an 8 or not, I called [Johnson] and he said, 'Brother, I will be there shoulder to shoulder with you to make sure it's the best movie in history.' And he delivered."
