Dwayne Johnson hits the Sundance red carpet with 17-year-old daughter Simone
Johnson was seen sporting an all black ensemble, while his 17-year-old daughter wore a white top with buttons, a pair of high-waisted jeans, and knee-high black boots.
Dwayne Johnson is one family man, and doesn't misses an opportunity to shower affection on his loved ones. This love was on display once again when he took his 17-year-old daughter Simone Garcia Johnson to the premiere of his most recent film, 'Fighting with My Family,' at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday night.
The former WWE star was seen sporting an all black ensemble — a turtleneck shirt, pants, and a pair of boots. The only pop of color was through his red color laces. Dwayne's daughter Simone was seen wearing a white top with buttons, a pair of high waisted jeans, and knee-high black boots.
However, the father-daughter duo did not pose together on the red carpet. Johnson is also a father to two other daughters — 3-year-old Jasmine and 9-month-old Tiana — whom he had with his girlfriend Lauren Hashian.
Dwayne, who will be serving as a producer on the film, was also joined by his costars Florence Pugh, Nick Frost, writer-director Stephen Merchant, and also the real-life WWE wrestler Paige, whose story has inspired the movie.
Johnson and Paige were seen posing together on the red carpet along with Pugh, who plays the role of Raya Knight, the character based on Paige's life. Paige was born as Saraya Jade Bevis and grew up in a family of wrestlers in England.
She made her pro debut as Britani Knight at the young age of 13 years and ultimately went on to sign a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), making her debut on the main WWE stage in 2014.
In her first match, she was able to win the Divas Championship and became the youngest champ at the age of 21 years. Paige and her family also participated in a Channel 4 documentary titled 'The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family'.
Johnson plays the role of himself in the film while Nick Frost and Lena Headey play the role of Paige's parents. Jack Lowden plays the role of her brother while Vince Vaughn plays WWE trainer Hutch. Many other WWE stars also appear as themselves including the likes of Paul 'The Big Show' Wight and Stephen 'Sheamus' Farrelly. 'Fighting With My Family' will be ready to be in theaters on February 14.
The same day as the Sundance premiere, Dwayne decided to share a picture of himself promoting the film while wearing a shirt with a rip in it.

I’m feeling pretty good about myself in this moment, until @hhgarcia41 says “hey Trapzilla, you tore another shirt”. Thanks brotha. Despite my wardrobe malfunction, tonight is shaping up to be a very special world premiere of our film, FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY here at the Sundance Film Festival. #OffTooAGoodStart
